considering i have no idea what the capacity crowd of that arena is, i'm not sure what these numbers equate to in terms of success, but an audience of less than 500 people cannot be a good sign for a promoted show tour.

The ticket price is so expensive b/c of the cost of travel for TNA. I know TNA is trying to grow globally......but I still think they are going about this wrong. The return on investment is low and much more of a gamble. Why not spend that money and try growing domestically before branching out?
As inferior as Heyman was with money.....he had a good plan. He got his company established in the north east, basically the tri state area, and as the company grew and became more well known he would slowly branch out. And then he would branch a little further and a little further.

They must like TNA if they are willing to pay $270 for a ticket.

I mean i get what you're saying and it's not that impressive, but it's the venue that was chosen and they sold it out so that's at least worth something...yea 270 a seat

$270? Jesus ing Christ. I wouldn't pay that much to sit in the ring during a TNA event, much less pay that for just a seat. hell, I had free tickets to my TNA live event, and even after that I felt like I had spent more then I should have just going.

The fact that TNA can sell-out a live event with $270 ticket prices is great for them.

Notice they said "attendance" and not "ticket sales". I wouldn't doubt the possibility that 3/5ths were comped.

$270 is crazy!
But if it worked for them then congrats but damn I would not spend that much on wrestling for one ticket [other than WM].

Not a great, huge number by any means, but at that high of a ticket price, and in BFE to boot . . . . not really bad.

sellout of a 4,000 seat arena..yeah right!
The TNA shows in Abu Dhabi this past week turned into a disappointment in that the local promoter claimed they would sell out, but each show drew less than 400 people (mostly young kids with parents) in a 4,000 seat arena, which is why the YouTube video TNA posted didn't include any visible crowd shots.
It's important to note that these were sold shows, so TNA gets paid whatever the promoter guaranteed in advance, including costs. Tickets were reportedly very expensive priced up to $200 and local promotion wasn't very good. There was also an issue with the ring in that upon inspection, nobody felt like taking many bumps.
