Hi, I got the new Demolition figures. They are very cool. The only problem is they made Smash too tall. He is about a half head taller than Ax. They are about the same height in real life. It makes them look off together.

Yeah I noticed it too. I did some homework and found that Ax was 6'3 while Smash was 6'2. But in some photos Smash looks taller.... But in my opinion it doesn't take away from how awesome Mattel did on the figures.

Yeah, I checked too. There is an inch difference between Ax and Smash in real life. But if you put the two figures together you can see Smash looks noticably taller. I think I might get an extra Ax and swap Smash's head on it.

It's hard to tell on video, but in most pictures I can find, Smash seems more than an inch taller than Ax.
Official heights are hard to go by because the WWF consistently fudged those numbers to their own liking.

Yea idk if that's their real heights. I think it's played with by WWE. I think Mattel prolly got the actual heights correct, just not the WWE heights.

I was a huge Demolition fan back in the day and I am pretty sure I remember Darsow (Smash) being taller than Eadie (Ax). Here is a recent picture of the two of them as they are still wrestling on the Indy circuit. Darsow is on the left and in this picture at least he looks taller.

Here's another recent pic where you can tell that Smash is just a little taller than Ax. I'd say "half a head" is pretty fair.
