So I just got Windows 7 installed on my computer, before I installed it, everything was running fine. And my laptop & computer are through the same wireless router, the laptop is running fine on the internet, like usual, but the computer's internet is running extremely slow. Anyone know this type of problem?

Anyone know this type of problem? Have you run Windows update? It's possible that the default driver that was installed for your network card isn't all that great and there may be a newer one. If you bought your PC versus buildling it, go to your manufacturer's site (Gateway, Dell, etc.), go to their Support Page, and find their Windows 7 drivers for everything. Also, did you do a custom install or an upgrade?

All good now guys, except every 10-15 minute I have to keep refreshing the network. But I guess I can live with that, and to Mole, I had no part in installing Windows 7 or anything, my computer had a virus and I took it to a local store that fixes computers, and the guy installed it for free.

If the guy installed it for free, be careful. It's highly likely that you have counterfeit software on your machine.
