I honestly can't think of any who can actually perform well and interest the hell out of older fans and appeal to newer. RVD was the last surprise entrant, and that was perfect. Now... Bret Hart? Can he even take a bump over the ropes? Probably not. Booker T is one I could see happening since he's still in shape and I'm sure hasn't burned any bridges. Sting and Kevin Nash are possibilities, right? But if that happened, WWE would have to use them till at least Mania. How the hell would that work? Brock Lesnar? That would be  ing awesome, but it won't ever occur at this point in time. Maybe down the line. Sid? lolz I can see Finlay being a surprise entrant. The thing with this 40-man Rumble is now I'm banking on surprise entrants. We all know HHH is going to be one of them, and maybe Christian and Evan Bourne, but what about the surprises that haven't been employed for awhile? Like Perfect and Goldust in 02, or Haku in 01, or Tatanka in 06? |

HHH is a lock. good chance of seeing one or two former NXT rookies. Maybe Skip Sheffield.
Its kinda nice this year that the winner isnt painfully obvious yet. In past years it was more than obvious that Benoit, Mysterio, and Batista were going to win.

has wwe made it obvious who is gonna win??? edge last years, 29, return won. John Cena number 30, return won it. Undertaker- 30 won it. Brock lesnar returned won it. Make it not obvious like Batista 2005.

I'd love to see Sting in the Rumble, though I'd hope they would have bigger plans for his WWE debut, if it happens at all (which I wouldn't predict at this point).

I could see the returns of HHH, Evan Bourne, and/or Christian. Booker T seems like a real possibility to me. Khali may come back for it, Finlay may be an entrant. Not too sure who this year which is the first in a long time that I can't predict who'll be in it or win it. Should be a great match.

Hell, I even think Bobby Lashley could be a possibility. Not with TNA, not with Strikeforce, not doing MMA currently...
