Saw it last night. WOW! I heard horrid reviews about this film, which generally means I'll like it. And was not dissapointed.
The idea that the entire movie takes place in a box with one single character in that box sounded like it might be boring to watch and that the reviews might be accurate. NOPE!
AMAZING! I found myself on the edge of my seat a few times. Not to give away certain scenes, but the film makes you think and takes you on a roller coaster of emotions.
I finished the film around 3 am and found myself unable to sleep after. I went from being semi tired, to wide awake to so awake and so unnerved at the end. Ending was...wow.

Didn't know what to expect, nothing great...but ended up getting a solid film experience. Good movie I'm glad I took a chance on and has great moments of cinematic brilliance I took away from it. Ending makes it a favorite, would buy on Blu Ray.

I thought it was alright. I like Ryan Reynolds a lot, but this wasn't my favorite. The ending was superb.

I saw it when it was in theaters. Can't really say I liked anything about it.

it's a good thriller and the director taking risk of placing it all in a coffin was pretty neat.

i thought it was solid. i like ryan reynolds, he's a really likable guy but i can't help but wonder how a better actor would have performed in the role. i'm glad they ended it the way they did.

Interesting, I remember it getting good reviews.
What I liked about the direction was the different use of lighting(glow sticks, flashlight, zippo, cell phone) that way the viewer isn't left with the same dull picture over and over again. In a film like that you gotta find ways to keep the audience engaged with what limits they have.

It was a really intense, claustrophobic film. I wouldn't say I loved it, definitely a really enjoyable thriller though. There doesn't seem to be many directions to go with the premise of the film and I think this one took a good route. While it did keep me on the edge of my seat throughout the movie, the ending really cranked up the intensity and was perfect. Good thing too, cause the wrong ended could have made me think differently of the film as a whole. Reynolds was pretty good too.
I read mixed reviews about the film. Not that reviews matter. I don't even like to read them before I watch a film, reviews tend to persuade peoples opinions.

Good movie. Not in my top 10 of 2010 (maybe 10-15)...but definitely entertaining to say the least.

My favorite shot was when it was slowly going upwards making it look like the box was incredibly tall! The ending made it for me. Really liked the way they finished it off.

I JUST finished watching it and that upwards tracking shot was one that stuck with me. Overall I really liked "Buried." Very intense film, especially at the end. And the ending itself, incredible.

I've been excited for this for a while. It never came anywhere near me when it was in theaters, so I've been anxiously waiting to see it. Got it in the mail last week, but I've yet to have a chance to watch it.

I didn't think it was great as CM, but it was okay. I felt like the stuff about "the woman he worked with" felt tacked on. And it seemed like he talked to the kidnapper too much. But it was something different. I'd say it was entertaining, but nothing groundbreaking.

I have seen only one bad review of the movie... it received almost universally positive critical acclaim. I dont remember where I read it, but saw a few reviews for it and it was destroyed. From the casting of Reynolds to the lighting to the fact that it takes place in a coffin. The latter was the part I thought would make the film bad and instead it completely changed my view after watching it. When I started the film, I thought it might be one I would end up turning off before the end.
