Mattel and THQ are two different companies with different types of contracts. i highly doubt that WWE would allow a Mattel Hogan toy to happen while he's still in TNA.

No since he already has a figure deal with Jakks. TNA has a figure deal with Jakks.. that doesn't necessarily mean that Hulk Hogan has a seperate deal of some sort with Jakks. Besides, even if he does, Andre the Giant's estate has a deal with both Jakks and Mattel. It's been established that one is not exclusive to the other. Do you really think if a TNA video game was announced tomorrow that Hogan wouldn't be on the roster? Mattel and THQ are two different companies with different types of contracts. i highly doubt that WWE would allow a Mattel Hogan toy to happen while he's still in TNA. You would think that.. but here he is in a video game that's getting a lot of push and hype. I'm a Jakks loyalist, and don't really care if a Hogan Mattel gets made or not.. but it seems like it could be promising news for those of you who have started over with Mattel!

Id be willing to bet that he could have a Mattel figure made but he's in the same boat as Flair and while he's in TNA it wont happen.

If Jakks is making figs of Hogan, he has a deal with them. Just because he is signed with TNA doesn't mean TNA can automatically have Hogan merch made without his saying so. This is Hogan we are talking about here. He knows how to market his likeness. He has a deal with Jakks.

While he has a deal with Jakks, he won't have on with Mattel.

Jakks once said that the only person they have a non exclusive deal with is Andre the Giant.
So no.

I think it is odd that he and the Ultimate Warrior are shown on the homepage, but not listed yet under the roster section.

Story going around now is that WWE did not want to include Hogan in game and later on the cover, it was THQ that pushed hard for Hogan.
