The entire time I've been buying wrestling figures, I've stayed loyal to Jakks but since WWE has moved to Mattel, I haven't been a fan of the figures at all..
To me, they feel cheaply made and are hard to pose. I did though find a nice CM Punk Elite 6 figure by Mattel that I picked up just to give it a try and I found that I like the figures that come with stands and name tags..
Can anyone suggest to me some very good, accurate Mattel WWE figs that also have stands like this one. I also like that it came with a shirt and his tattoos are accurate and colorful.. but the stiffness and articulation still get to me..
Anyway, any help is appreciated.

anything prior to Elite Series 7 comes with name tags and stands - after that, only Defining Moments series will have a stand/name tag.
It's subjective on the colorful ink, accuracy, and likeness - really that's up to you and what you want.
Stiffness can be fixed with warm baths or hot hair dryers (as a stand-alone this sentence is all sorts of wrong).
As for articulation - can your RAs do a boston crab or sharp shooter?

I don't ever pose wrestling figure in moves, just by themselves so Sharpshooters and Boston Crabs don't matter much to me. But thank you for the suggestions.

I totally agree with you about Mattel figs being cheaply made. And this is coming from someone who loves Mattels and thinks they're by far the best wrestling figures ever made as far as detail, scale, and realism. When I open a figure to find it has chipped paint, black scuff marks, super loose or tight joints, clothing that gets a glitter-like substance everywhere (my Elite 4 JoMo variant coat and my elite 3 Christian entrance gear off the top of my head), etc. But these cheap flaws aren't common enough to make me stop collecting.
I'd recommend getting the SDCC Exclusive Undertaker (has his WM 15 entrance gear). Its my favorite figure of all time, truly perfect. You can get it from RSC for 30-something. As far as figs you can get in stores, the Legends series 1 Austin is a great figure. Would of been perfect if they gave it 2 knee braces instead of 1.

Legends 1 Stone Cold Steve Austin
Legends 3 The Rock
Elite 2 Randy Orton
Elite 4 John Morrison
Elite 5 Dolph Ziggler (I also recommend a head swap with his Basic 4 figure)
Elite 6 Goldust
Elite 7 Shawn Michaels (Doesn't come with a name tag but it's a great figure)
Any Defining Moments figure

I haven't had any of those issues. Personally I love tighter joints as they hold poses better. (I say this while thinking of every Jakks figure that had Hogan's boots had loose ankles) Out of 200+ Mattel's I've had 4 issues. (3 minor and one major) Both my Elite 3 Christian figures as well as my Volkoff had slight stains on their shoulders from their jackets. And the one major issue was my B2 Kozlov had a fused right hip that tore off when I tried to move it. Sure all of my Legends 2-Pack Series 1 figures had tight hips that needed to be run under hot tap water for about 1 minute, but they are fine since...So I wouldn't call that an issue.

Mattel articulation is always a notch below DAs but if you don't mind the wonky legs then they should be fine.
