Ok now i subscribe to WWE on demand. I was watching it last night as i was bored and it had Hogan/Akeem on. Now i'm sorry whoever says Cena is like superman has never saw Hogan. He got beat up by Akeem,Bossman, and a night stick for a good 3 minutes then all the sudden "hulks up". I know this topic is pretty pointless or w/e but i don't know how people can complain about Cena when it looks like Hogan was just as bad if not worse.

Only liked Hogan when he was with NWO. Only liked Cena when he was say being as the US Champ or possibly the feuding with ECW etc...

I'm sorry, but Cena is worse than Hogan. Case and point, right  ing here: I mean, had that taken place back in the old days, you wouldn't see that guy for like 2 months. He would be on the shelf. But, Cena?? After getting blown the up, I believe he came out on Raw the very next night without ANY marks on him and not even selling it. Cena is by FAR worse than Hogan. That video proves it. |

While I agree with you that he and Hogan are very similar in the superman accord, the argument is that it was a different time. In the 80s there was more kayfabe and the internet was not around. The 80s provided for larger than life super heroes, a classic fight of good and evil. Today, its not that way. Fans do not buy into the superheroes of wrestling and the business is more exposed. There isnt a clear cut good vs. evil all the time and thus Cena generates more hate. If Cena was in the 80s.....it would be a different story., |

Some because he wins the title, but still fail to understand Cena is booked to do that, He doesn't chose to he is booked to win the title or win the matches etc. Plus, Whoever Cena beats in a match "jobbed" or Cena " burried" them. Even though half of the people on here don't seem to know what jobbing is. |
