So I got the ESR for Christmas. And I noticed that it really slides around too much. The ringposts don't touch the floor, and it's all unleveled, which makes it slide and move around a lot. But what I noticed is that when the ropes aren't on, then it's completely leveled. Maybe it's the force of the ropes pulling on the ringposts and it makes the base of the canvas cave inward? Or maybe it's something else? Am I the only one, and is this normal? It's a real pain in the ass because I animate with it. And the ring moves around too much. If anyone else who has the ESR could answer this, then I'd appreciate it. I wonder if there is anything I can do to fix this.

I haven't had an issue with that at all infact the only thing I have had a problem with is the clips not holding the ring mat down good enough, but thats it for me good luck!

Is the blue canvas not supposed to reach every corner?
Or is mine just cut short?

This exact thing is happening to me. Ever since I mvoed it from my table to my computer desk, and moved my computer to my table, it's been different. Idk what went wrong, but I guess I bent something? This is the only thing that gets on my nerves about the ESR.

I only had mine set up briefly (no room for it until I rearrange the place) but the only issue I noticed was disassembly. The two halves of the ring base wouldn't come apart unless I put them in hot water, and the ropes fray horribly every time they're hooked/unhooked because of how tight the gap is to hook them to the post.

Funny, I wanted to post about this when I got mine, but since I never heard anything about this, I didn't. Nice to see I'm not the only one who encountered this situation. The ring posts may not cave in, bit the whole ring ends up curving under the stress of the nylon ropes. My fix was putting it apart and back in the box. I'll stick to my good old Hardcore Ring for now.

I also had way too many problems, and just gave up. It's uneven, the clips won't clip down the mat, and for me, it's just too complicated and frustrating. While the RSR may not of been the greatest, I set that up with ease in about an hour when I first got it. I'm just waiting for the second version of an ESR, and hopefully the problems will be fixed.

Problem I'm having is that I'm trying to dismantle it and put it back in the box and the clips which hold the two bases together won't come off.

Mine is fine I put a piece of ply wood down with a towel over it and set the ring on top of it seems to be ok

I just have issues with the ringskirt sticking up too much ,not being flush with the canvas. And with the canvas itself moving too easily. I don't play with mine, just a display piece used for posing pics and collection pics. So it kind of annoys me when the canvas is wrinkled and away from the corners and I haven't messed with it in days. Lately I've been finding myself using the small superstar rings for more photos and posing. I feel like if I do anything in the ESR it might rip the canvas or improperly fitting ringskirt. I like the way it looks on display and is much better than other Mattel ring offerings, but it has some issues that, like Jakks RSR V1,need to be addressed/fixed.

Mine done that when it was on my computer desk until I found room for it on another table. After I moved it to a different table, it didn't do it anymore. Guess it depends if the surface is slick or not.

Problem I'm having is that I'm trying to dismantle it and put it back in the box and the clips which hold the two bases together won't come off. If you look closely there is a little slit on the outside of each of the 3 clips. I use a screwdriver or anything like that to press in and make the bases come apart. I also put a sticker on the side with the clips attached so I knew which side to hold down which makes pulling the other part off easier. Sorry if that didn't make any sense.
