ok well this all started on Monday. I drove 30-45 min to a walmart that a family member told me they had just seen Elite 7 HHH and HBK on the shelf. SO i flew over there, grabbed the boxes, and noticed that they were missing their shirts. Then i noticed the hats were gone. Then i noticed they were DX basic 2 pack figures in the Elite 7 boxes. So i was pissed, found a toy isle employee, and informed them. I know everyone here says they have done it and the stores don't care, but i figured what the hell, maybe it will be different. Boy was i wrong. The employee told me "yeah it happens all the time with wrestling toys and star-wars toys" and "the girls in the front don't know, and they are told not to ask questions". So after a 30-45 min drive home, wasted gas for nothing, and having to deal with poopty traffic. I was extremely pissed when i got home, so i decided to email the Corporate office. After writing a email, they asked which store, i click the location and it sent the complaint to the store....NOW here is the odd part. I just got a phone call from the Assistant store manager. Very apologetic for the customer service and the situation. Asked about the employee. Then asked me for the UPC numbers of the figures i was looking for. I gave the numbers, she looked them up, and said "i can order them, but it can take up to 3 weeks, unless they are in transit already. When they get here, i will take them and hold them for you and give you call that i have them for you"......WOW wasn't expecting that, figured i would never hear back from them.
*update* So after 2 weeks I gave up on the hope that I was going to get a call back. Figured those of you who said they would just forget were right.
Well yesterday I received a phone call from the same assistant manager, telling me she had them in hand and to come by whenever to pick them up!!!! Holy crap I was amazed. Now I have me elite 7 Shawn and trips for the low price of $free.fiddyfree

Cool man! People who do this should be shot. I hope this is something everyone on here will do if they see this. Not to let those figures just sit there, even if your not buying them. Turn them in and make the Mgr aware. Thanks for sharing.

That's a new one! Walmart customer service line has always proven useless in every instance in my experience. Congrats on getting a positive response.

I went to Walmart tonight to buy a new printer. strolled by the figure isle and found 2 UFC figures I wanted, Dan Severn and BJ Penn.. and someone had taken a box cutter to the front of both boxes and stolen BJ's belt and Severn's sweaty shirt. what the hell is anyone going to do with a sweaty gray shirt outside of having it on a Dan Severn figure?

How much do you want to bet they won't hold them for you this time and they'll be on the floor for everybody?

How much do you want to bet they won't hold them for you this time and they'll be on the floor for everybody? i thought about that. But then why contact a obviously upset customer, and the tell them this to not do it? just to get them more pissed off? cuz i know damn well if this lady does do what she said, ill make sure to go out of my way to let her upper management know what a big help she was. But i can easily do the same if she doesn't. ill keep my hopes up, especially when she called me yesterday and this morning, and i couldn't answer, then called me again tonight.

Not trying to be a jerk but they will forget to hold it for you. Walmart stores have over 10 managers who have a lot of tasks to perform, the chances of them remembering and saving them for you is slim to none...but maybe if they forget you will get something free from them.

Sadly I agree. Walmart service is last to none. I once tried to buy a figure and they said because the top was ripped they couldn't sell it to me. First and last time I ever saw the JoMo Elite 4 at the WM BTW. I still think that cashier wanted it for himself.

Holy crap. At my walmart, if you ask them for anything, they ALWAYS say everythings out. Then the next day they will be loaded

How much do you want to bet they won't hold them for you this time and they'll be on the floor for everybody? This. I have had several stores say they will hold a figure back for me.Only to go pick it up and the employees have no idea what i am talking about.
