does Mattel's ESR come with 1 set of ringsteps? or 2 sets? i'm pretty sure it only comes with one set, but just checking.
also what are peoples thoughts on the ESR ringsteps? i've only seen pics, but from what i can see they look much better and more accurate than the old Jakks ringsteps.
the reason i ask, is I'm thinking of buying the ESR, just for the ringsteps. i'm happy with my old Jakks RSR so i don't need the ring, so the price does put me off a bit. i may try and get some ringsteps separately on classifieds but i dunno if anyone would have them for sale.

There's only one set as for how they compare to Jakks I couldn't say seeing I only have the WMII RSR ring and that has the classic stairs. The only modern Jakks stairs I have came in an AD set.

the RSR steps are great. They'll prolly fit real good around a Jakks ring. Theyre a very tight and snug fit on the ESR. I wouldn't spend the 50+ bucks just for the steps. Try the classifieds. I think I recall seeing a few sets there.

It comes with one set, and the steps are really nice and include holes for the figures hands =D

Definitely not worth buying just for the steps. They seem about the same as the Jakks ones to me.

I don't really need the steps that came with my ESR. If your interested I'd be willing to sell them to you.

They aren't painted good like the Jakks steps. Instead of looking like worn or weathered steps... They look plastic. Which is what they are.
No paint application at all.
They do snap apart, so if you like that, cool.
