I saw Season 1 for £2.99, so I bought it however I've seen very little of it, so thought I'd ask here and see what you guys thought of it?

I hear the later episodes get a bit better but what I saw of it was pretty bad. Joker and Riddler were done pretty terribly.

Batman himself was pretty decent, I enjoyed how lean he looked compared to the barrel chested TAS version (not to take away from the perfection of that show).

It wasn't bad, and was a lot better when it was just Batman without Robin or Batgirl. Robert Englund as The Riddler was pretty good.

The Batman suffered from being the first non Timmverse version of Bats in years-some folks couldnt get past it.
I was skeptical at first let me tell ya-ESPECIALLY with that Joker design but it won me over like Ledgers facepaint Joker I just accepted that this is something different and it will never replace what I love.
as posted above there was a dramatic improvement in storylines come season 3 and the Justice League stuff in season 4 was awesome.
some of the character designs plain didnt work-simple as but some did.overall a good show that deserves to be seen.

I'm unfamiliar. I was always too attached to the original Animated Series. I will say, I saw "The Batman vs. Dracula" and thought it was pretty entertaining.

I remember watching a lot of it. I missed the final season with all the Justice League crap, but the stuff I saw was pretty entertaining.

My least favorite batman adaptation ever. I heard it got better as time went on, but I just couldn't get past the awful designs and the fact that so many characters lot all of their depth for the sake of action. The fact that they were trying to copy the darkness of TAS and failed at that probably doesn't help either. TAS was amazing and all of the others were at least fun, i just never could get into this one. Hopefully you'll enjoy it, but if not you're not out very much, so it'll be ok.

I'm sure the show has its high points and all, but I tried watching a few episodes and just couldn't get into it. Same with Batman Beyond (other than the movie).

See, I really liked Batman Beyond... But maybe that's because of my general love of cyberpunk though

The red sky, Rastafari Joker, emo Riddler, Clay-Two-Face & half hearted attempts at bringing in Robin & Batgirl were the only real detractors to the show.
I thought it was entertaining for what it was, a good look at Bruce's early, formative years as the Bat- and how Gotham adjusted to his presence...nothing close to as phenomenal as B:TAS though.
