WHat the hell? This is really bad since I order most of my stuff online, and most of the time TRU is the cheapest place to buy. If the price of the DM is this high, I may have to skip on most of the up and coming awesome DMs (Will still buy steamboat). They are very cool, but some of them are not necessary to me (I think Mattel could have chose a better defining moments for each respective wrestler). Hopefully I will be fine with just the legends.

TRU could have had a really good thing going by keeping DM cheaper than everyone else! Now they've gone and F'ed themselves by doing this. Now where am I supposed to get DM for a good price?!

gee what a surprise...TRU raises prices again. Yesterday I stopped by the TRU near my work and they had put out a case of Basic 6. I want Edge because I never picked it up originally...went to check out and it came out to $12.74....yea $13.00 for a BASIC figure? ?? Hell no. I politely said to the cashier "Oh, that's a lot, I'm all set actually" and she cancelled the transaction. TRU is pretty much going to be my last resort for buying Mattel figures now. They are 2 series behind all the other stores (at least) and they are absolutely ridiculously priced. I miss the days of Jakks WWE at TRU....people on the board from the West Coast would find a series...and 4-5 weeks later it would show up at my local TRUs, and so on. Now? There are 300 Wrestlemania 26 Elites & Basics, about 20 Elite 3 Cody Rhodes & 40 Legends 2 packs that have been there since NOVEMBER 2010.

I haven't bought a figure from TRU since I picked up a replacement Legends 3 Vader (I oringinally ordered the entire set from wweshop, and when I received them, my Vader had been sliced all the way down the back of the package with a razor blade). They're just so far behind everyone else ("Oh, they have Basic Series Whatever...too bad I found them at Walmart MONTHS AGO!") and they keep raising prices. The only items I'm going to buy from TRU in the future are exclusives, because I have no other choice.

I never find anything at TRU anyways. I dont even know why I go there. lol. Basic Series 1 6-pack and the WrestleMania exclusives are all I've gotten there that was even slightly exciting.
My TRU right now is filled with FlexForce.

Holy Moley! $25! TRU is nuts. Why all the price spikes? Walmart & Target are so much cheaper.

I'm guess TRU always wanted to price it at about that much. They tend to be a little higher. They probably put it into their systems wrong at first, then corrected it to the regular retail price and now finally are adjusting it to the TRU price.
I also saw they re-raised the price of the WM figs and the Legends 2 packs are back to $30 after being $23.99 or whatever for about 2 weeks.
Strange stuff going on over there.

Daggum. That's especially bad considering Target has them on sale until the 19th for $15.
And to whoever said they had 300 WrestleMania 26 Elites, I wish that was the case at the one near my house, because there are ZERO, and I'm trying to collect all the Elites =P

Yep. Just going to TRU for exclusives now. Targets, Wal-Marts and even K-Marts are much more plentiful in my area, have newer stuff and are cheaper. TRU seems determined to fill the void in pricing left by KB, but even they had new stuff in all the time.

Walmart near me actually had a DH Smith Target is actually really well stocked on Elites and has two sections of them. I haven't tried K-Mart yet, cause its not TOO close (but not that far either). I just moved on campus now that I'm starting college, and trying to figure out where everything is lol As for TRU, I looked online, and the closest one to my dorm is a half hour away And if its anything like the one near my house, probably has very little for too high a price anyways.

Wow, that is expensive! I only plan on purchasing the Steamboat from the upcoming DMs.

I seem to remember a time when the DM line was going to run $30 a figure, then again that was also when they were going to be the most detailed and accurate figures ever. $25 still doesn't seem to high for them, but sadly the ones at my TRU won't sell for that. The price went up to $24.99 and the Savages have been moved to a bottom shelf next to the rings.
