If Mattel was going to do "BAF" for WWE it should not be a figure we are building towards. It should be something like a pieces to a cage match, or a backstage interview area, or announce table, or a tron. Something like that. DC's build is figure is used to make a huge towering character. Something that wouldn't fit in normal packing. I would feel silly collecting pieces to build WWE ref....Justin King. Your Queen

Parents would probably complain if wrestlers came with dismembered limbs. It'd be Al Snow all over again.

Are the ones that they did with the DC figures of good quality? Most of the BAF are not only high quality, but they are more sturdy and have better paint aps then the regular figures. Then again it costs $75-$100 to put one together through the figures. The problem is the BAF are supposed to be a way to get a larger character to the fans such as Bane, Kilowog or Giganta. I don't know any wrestler that couldn't be made as a normal release.

To me, build a figure is a dirty tactic to try and get people to buy something they don't really want just to get a missing piece. That kind of crap pisses me off and I hope Mattel doesn't start doing this with the WWE line. I don't want the only way I'm going to get a certain figure to be if I am forced to spend money on things I don't otherwise want. That's exactly what I was thinking. To the T. If Mattel wants to sell more Legends they need to just keep making them as awesome as they are, and not go too obscure. They aren't going to have every Legends figure fly off the pegs....they need to produce LESS if they want to sell MORE There is no reason TRU should have gotten 6 cases of the Legends 2 packs. And that's just at one store...who knows how many were shipped across the country and to their online warehouse. It's too much. Set it back a little bit, it will save their costs & save the stores' pegs.

I have nothing against BAF, but as a MOC collector BAF offers no extra incentive for me. I am sure there are many others in the same boat. I agree with this. I wouldn't mind if the BAF was a referee or something, but an actual wrestler I wouldn't care much for as a BAF. However, if there was a way I could get the wrestler BAF fully-assembled on its own card from matty or something...

Well to those that don't like the idea think of it this way. Buying a figure you don't want just to have the baf is better than the line dying. And worse case scenerio you have to buy the baf on ebay. (though it may be expensive) that's why I was thinking of a diva or an obsucre figure that wouldn't make it into the line. also mattel really should look into trends before putting out figures.

I like Kims idea of build a thing rather than a figure. Would be a cool way to get something like a cage or maybe like Jakks did with DA Legends, make it come with ELite ring accessories.
