I am, by example, a somewhat "normal" collector. (Not that collecting in any form is strange, but compared to some...I'm fairly reserved ) Anyways, to this point, I have made it my mission to only buy one of each fig for display/show purposes. The ONLY one I have so far that is a double is CM Punk (Bought him as a single originally, now have 2 because of the Gallows 2-pack)...and I will likely end up with a double of Christian if I can't find someone on here selling Heath separately. When it was "announced" Sting would be joining WWE, and likely getting a contract for figures...I saw my wallet opening up and spitting out the dust I will one day call my remaining currency at me. I would buy every Sting fig made from here to eternity and happily spend pretty much whatever on it. He's just the one guy in ALL of ProWrestling that I favor more than anyone....(like some of you and Zack Ryder ) Anyways, when it's likely not gonna be Sting coming to WWE, I started thinking about the other wrestlers I enjoy enough to want to consider buying multiples of. The Rock and Ultimate Warrior top the list. Undertaker possibly, but honestly, he's grown quite stale recently and has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth to WANT his figs that badly. So, if I were to start buying all the figures I could of say Rock and Warrior...do you think it's worth it? Do you think spending considerable money on more than one version of your favorite superstar is worth the investment?...a LOT of you do it, but I guess I'm looking for reasoning. Thanks for reading. Take care.

Take care. Why collect any figures at all? You're essentially wasting money as it is! But, here I am, building up a collection. if you're a fan and enjoy doing it, then go for it. That's what its all about really, if YOU'LL enjoy collecting it. If not, then don't, just get singles.

I try to get 1 of every basic figure that has been released. However, I have been collecting EVERY figure released of these superstars:
-Edge -Ultimate Warrior -Macho Man
So, yeah I think it is worth it.

If you can't decide where to spend your money I suggest you don't. If you need an outside opinion to guide your collection then you may be collecting for the wrong reasons. Collect for you and to make you happy. Not us WF'ers

Charlie Sheen is that you?
But seriously...I like to collect one of each figure in their most iconic look - 'cept I bucked that trend and am collecting every Macho and Warrior available! And heaven forbid we get a Stong - I'm a bigger fan than you!

I know you want others opinions but it really is up to you. I only collect the Legends line as I really like seeing the figures of wrestlers I grew up with. I do not buy any other figure from any other line. I feel that the legends line as more character's then todays wrestlers and I think that is what is needed. I think about it this way you have Superman,Batman,Spiderman do you really want John Cena or The Road Warriors? Triple H or Jake the Snake Roberts? I always liked characters and todays wrestlers is more like you and me when they are supposed to be bigger then life characters.

I don't think buying any figure is an invesetment. I buy the Legends I liked for the memories they bring back of watching wrestling with my father. And with the modern guys if I like them I buy them. If not I pass. Future value never enters into the equation as to whether I buy a figure or not.
As for multiples I will buy every Piper, Hitman, Triple H, Orndorff, Perfect, Snuka, Muraco, Road Warriors, Von Erich's, Regal and if/when Mattel does Sting, Steiners & Flair.
