So i went to my local TRU today, I was hunting for some new Star Wars and WWE Mattel figures, sadly no new figures for both toy brands..they still had the old waves of the SW line and for the WWE mattel section they still had wm26 basic figures, all of them are shelton benjamin, basic 3 figures and one basic 6 ted dibiase,wm elites jack swaggers all of them are all the same nothing new except for the rumblers and DM1 HBKS.so anyways i came across this new 6-pack Royal Rumble Heritage Exclusive
they are identical to the regular RRheritage series they just come all together in one set, just like the basic series 1 6-pack exclusive that came out last year.
just wanted to share this, since this was the first time i saw them. took a quick snapshot with my samsung phone enjoy and btw they are 49.99
my TRU still has the rey collection 6-pack for 38.99 on clearance, which to me is still expensive if this drops to 20.00 i might be tempted and convinced to get them.

Those figures are $8.33 a piece, certainly not a bad deal.
And the Rey pack is too expensive? At $40, that makes each one $6.67! That's a HECKUVA deal right there!

You're saving at least $25 bucks!

The problem with this type of set is that unless you want every single figure in the pack it isn't worth the value. $50 is a great price, assuming you want them all. Personally, I would just rather grab the one or two I want as opposed to the whole set knowing half those figures would end up on my classifieds thread if I did pick something like this up.
I like the concept, I like the price, but this particular set isn't for me. I hope it does well, and I hope that Rey Mysterio set continues to do well because I want an evolution of Shawn Michaels set.

But to say its not a good deal for what it is, is certainly incorrect, whether you are inclined to purchase it or not. And agreed, HBK set would be awesome. I don't collect Basics, but I'd probably buy a MOC of that since I'm a big HBK fan.

I jsut can't get into these 6 Figure sets. I like the set themselves, but none of them have been my cup of tea just yet.

Mattel is failing so bad!. They could be the best company that made wrestling figures ever! And this is what they do? FAIL! How about a Undertaker or HBK set. Nobody wants this set except MARKS that buy every figure! Boooooooo!

Thanks for the info but I would not spend that much on figures.

I have a feeling these won't move at all. At least with the Mysterio 6-pack it was all new figures..

Thanks for the info. These types of sets are ideal for me. I like to display my figures, but I actually like the cards on the basic figures and hate busting them open. I really like the elites and DM figures because you can display them, and then put them back in the box and display that way if you later decide.

That's an ideal gift set to buy someone.
My only complaint though is instead of Christian & Sheamus it should have included two other past winners of the Rumble. Should have packed it with Triple H, Austin, or The Rock basic figures.

Should have packed it with Triple H, Austin, or The Rock basic figures. Its the Royal Rumble series, but with all of the figures from that series in one box set. I can't believe people are like "oh this deal sucks, I don't want it". It doesn't matter if you want it or not, its a good deal regardless, and not one you have to take advantage of if you don't feel inclined -_- And my statement about the figures being $10, I was referring to outside of TRU, as I could not remember how much more they were there. At $11 for figs from TRU, that comes out to be an even better deal. That being said, once again... HBK would still be awesome lol

Interesting idea...I wonder if this means TRU won't be getting the RR set individuals? I'm surprised it's not $79.99 though, you know...gotta pay extra for that large box
