Since Mattel producing Kerry and Kevin, did they ever give word as to why David wasn't lined up or possibly signed for a figure? It's kind of odd considering that arguably the Von Erichs peak years were as a trio, and we're only getting Kevin and Kerry.
Did they ever make mention of it or anyone ask?

I would like to have David also. Hopefully Kerry and Kevin sell well enough to make it possible down the road. I'd enjoy other WCCW guys (Gino Hernandez, Chris Adams, etc) also.

I'd love to see guys like Gentleman Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez too. I'd also like to see The Freedbirds(Done RIGHT, not the sh*ty Jakks versions), Jimmy Garvin, and Skandor Akbar.

Probably because Kerry is the popular one and Kevin is the only one living (thus the one they're dealing with) and if those two sell well enough, they'll probably make David.
It's safe to assume that Kevin was just a condition to getting Kerry.

I really hope they'd try and get David too. Maybe as an exclusive? I can always cobble together some Mattel customs of Freebirds, but I'd love to have three Von Erich boys to take them on.
This is where it's a shame the two-packs didn't sell well. Mattel could have done a David vs. Michael Hayes pack and then packed Buddy Jack and Gordy in a tag team set.

i've given this some thought too. it's about time david von erich gets a figure made of him. he has never appeared in any line and deserves it.

David and Gino Hernandez are two guys that would have been big had they not died so early. Gino was great on the stick, and had the skills to make it happen, I GUARANTEE had he lived, he'd be a Horseman at some point. Look up a promo of his on Youtube. Especially "Gino and Farrah". He was an awesome promo man. DVE was probably going to be the biggest of the Von Erichs and as Flair put it, going to be given a run with the NWA belt.

I'd punch an elderly woman in the gut live during the Super Bowl half-time show for a set of Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams figures.

I too would like that, and would like to see more stars from World Class, like Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez, The Great Kabuki and The Missing Link...those would be pretty cool, done well by Mattel, I reckon...
