Ok, I need to ask a question. If this doesnt go here, then you can move it by all means. This has been troubling me for about 6 months now, and its the fact that my ropes on my RSR are being stretched out too long to the point of them just slumping down like this: If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything from stretching them by twisting the ringposts around 45 degrees, but only made it worse. And I clearly dont want to buy ANOTHER new ring, since I really find no pointing wasting $100 + on a ring when I know if I can fix it. Help appreciated. Thanks.

You can just buy new elastic bands and replace the old ones. That's what most people did. They said you can find those elastic bands at craft shops.

Maybe since the ropes are already droopy, you could bring them with you when you go out to look for replacements. If I'm not mistaken, I think PJ saw or bought some elastic bands somewhere.

OMG I can't believe the amount of people on here who say "I don't want to have to buy a new ring just for the ropes" They are the EASIEST part of the ring to get hold of if you need a newer version of it Don't bother with shops, ebay's the way to go They have a whole selection of colours and sizes, so you can buy blue, white, black, silver, yellow ones as well as red Just type into ebay search: Red elastic cord The sellers should list the thickness also - you want anywhere between 2.5 to 3mm (2.5 is fine, but jakks ropes are 3mm). Also if you need a different colour, just replace red with whatever colour you want. Simples EDIT plus if you can't buy them off ebay, then take the ropes down to the stores with you so they can see what you want and not look at you wierdly. Most will sell black or white however.

Ok thanks for this guys. It seems that I mainly just have to buy the ropes, as that is the only logical way I can fix it.
