Anyone else ing pumped for this movie? I was growing up with the Scream series, now as a 15 year old I'll be able to do what all the teenagers that grew up during the first 3 do, and go watch it in the cinemas with a bunch of friends. This looks great so far, I hope it doesn't disappoint. New decade, new rules!

I'm so pumped for this movie. Like you I grew up on these movies and they were (strangely enough) a big part of my childhood. I just bought the original trilogy on Blu-Ray off of Amazon and am going to re watch them in preparation. This franchise is one of my favorite horror franchises and I'm really looking forward to what's going to happen in Scream 4!

I also am ready for this movie. Been too long since we've had a decent horror movie. Freddy Vs. Jason, the 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Saw 1-2 were decent, but they were 5-8 years ago. Once 4 hit for Saw, it just got dragged down, IMO. I haven't even seen 6 or Saw 3D because I just was not excited for them. I really hope Saw 3D was the last one.. It was a poorly managed series too. 7 movies in 7 years? Wrong move, LionsGate. The reason that movies like Friday The 13th, or A Nightmare On Elm Street stood the test of time is because it took them several years to do the series. 10 years for Nightmare, from 1 to New Nightmare. 19 if you count Freddy Vs. Jason as part of the series as I do. And Friday the 13th took 23 years to "complete" if you count FvJ.

My most anticipated film of the year. Scream is my favorite trilogy, and this will also be the first one i get to see in theaters.

My most anticipated film of the year. Scream is my favorite trilogy, and this will also be the first one i get to see in theaters. Same here. My friend and I were supposed to be able to see Scream 3 in theaters, but the one that we were gonna see it at, they were on their last legs, and decided to start a policy where an adult had to accompany ANY minor into the auditorium where an R-rated film was being shown, and remain there for the duration of the movie. So we saw The Green Mile instead with his mom and 2 sisters. That theater closed like a year later. Stupid ass people.

Pretty excited about this. One can only hope it leads to more I Know What You Did Last Summer and Urban Legend movies! (j/k)

It looks so crap, and I mean that, but I will probably see it, as I have a real soft spot for horror.

Not really pumped or looking forward to it, but I'll definitely see it when it comes out. The first one scared the crap out of me when I was 11 or 12 years old.

I love the Scream trilogy... I think this will most likely be the worst of them though. I'll definitely see it. But, I'm weary of it. Cotton Weary of it, in fact.
