Well it all started when I was about 9 or 10 years old, I started watching in the early 90's. It was the beginning of the transition from the late 80's to early 90's and later into the infamous attitude era. Just to give you an idea on what time line I started watching wrestling. It really started with me getting a glimpse of Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, the over the top characters just caught my attention right away. I can remember begging my farther to allow me to watch it, my farther didn't believe I was old enough to watch since I was really young and he thought I wouldn't understand it was fake. But I begged him enough and he sat me down one Monday night and told me before he turned it on, It's fake, they are actors, and characters. I can remember I was so excited just to see these larger than life characters on the screen, then I got to see them have these tremendous matches and do things I never thought could be done or I had never seen before. Once I started watching every week I got hooked on the stories they were telling. Man, Ric Flair's promo's use to get me so pumped for the evening.
Once time went on it really just took off from there, I just became a huge fan and wanted to know everything there was about professional wrestling. I started buying the magazines, the action figures, the posters, shirts, hats. Once my allowance money was given to me, it was gone the next day. But I really got caught up in the WCW Vs.NWO storyline in 96' I remember about a year after the 96' bash took place and the very beginning of the NWO I was instantly turned as a fan. Of course when I was younger and first started watching I was a fan of the faces only. But when the NWO came about I turned into I guess a "heel" fan so to speak. I loved the Hulk Hogan mean streak, and how dominate the NWO was in WCW. Which is what sparked my big interest in the WWE, I hadn't been paying much attention to it. Since I was focused on WCW at that point, but Austin's rebillion streak started and his attitude is something that had caught on with me as well. I began watching both products, although at a young age I was kind of kept away from the DX segments at the time by my farther. But I look back on it and laugh now but over all it was an amazing time to be a fan.

WCW in the early 90's was what got me hooked. Action figures made me a bigger fan. The Attitude era, and the era of WCW around it made me an even bigger fan. Then, at the Invasion angle, I stopped caring.
THEN
Around last November, I got into it again because of ECW and now I collect figures (and other wrestling stuff), as well as DVDs; and watch every wrestling show every week

1989 I was 9 and TV here started showing WWF......got the build to WM5 and then seen WM5-after that I was hooked.
got tired of it around 94.....got interested again in 96 and began watching when HBK was champ, coincidentally I started watching Nitro the week before Hall turned up and after that I was totally into it again.
but then I started to like Austin around late 96 even though I wasnt supposed to.....then the whole WM13 thing and Austin took off and I was hooked comnpletely.
lost interest in WCW around Feb 1999 but WWF was effin must see TV then.never really tuned back into WCW after that.....and when I did it was effin awful

Goldberg, Sting, and Rey Mysterio Jr. (when he still had the Jr.) got me. I started watching in 1998. WCW was my brand. I never really watched WWF. My mom wouldn't let me because of the content. I mean it was the Attitude Era. But I have been hooked ever since.

i guess it all starts with WWF 1999. The Corporation, The Ministry, Steve Austin, Mankind, an undercard of like Ken Shamrock, NAO, X-Pac and stuff. The hardcore division. all of that stuff hooked me in as a kid. i just kept watching thereafter and also fell in love with everything WWF before that. ah, i remember looking all over for every classic VHS tape i could find.
since then i've been a huuuge fan. wrestling is a giant aspect of my life, but there have been certain periods where my interest spikes up even more. that was with ROH in '06/'07 and most recently with TNA's growth.

I started watching in like 2002 and I saw some pretty epic moments. I didn't get to live the attitude era fully. I just got like 1 year of attitude. NOT enough! I once just saw a video and I thought, oh, this is pretty entertaining, and that's the story.

I was around 5 or so WCW and Lex Luger & Sting really drew me in for some reason. Then after watching TV for a few weeks I rented Superbrawl II it was all history from there.

When I was 7 I was walking through the video store with my parents and I saw this on the shelf and begged them to rent it for me. I watched that ppv over and over watching Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love and wondering "is that the same guy?" Chainsaw Charlie with a real chainsaw and being scared (hey, I was 7!), The Rock and Stone Cold. I was hooked after that and tried to watch all the wrestling on tv that I could.

Chris Benoit. He was my absolute favourite for ages because he was the first wrestler I saw on TV. Him in the midcard and Triple H in the main event it was just awesome.

I got hooked watching the Hart Foundation vs some jobbers. It was either wrestling challenge or superstars.I was crying so my dad put me in front of the tv and turned on wrestling. From then on i was hooked.
I got out of wrestling about mid 2005 because we did not have cable.I sold my first collection and decided Football was going to be my new hobby but that did not work out. I got hooked on wrestling again in 2007 one week before Summerslam.I restarted my collection in 2008 after i got out of high school.
I never really watched wcw.I was 100% wwf/wwe. The only wcw i watched was wcw saturday night and thunder but besides that i was wwf/wwe.

The Corporation/Austin, simple as that, but to be more specific, Big Boss Man. As a child, and really still now, I've always been a fan of the brutal non-speaking authority figure dressed all in black, so Bossman was perfect for me.

gonna show my age here....we're going WAY back in the time machine...
i can remember my Dad watched it now and then when i was small, but i never really cared...then,one day in school someone brought in a copy of PWI,the one with the Road Warriors on the cover as "Tag Team of the Year" ,so i lookd through it,and saw all these weird, colorful, sometime overweight and slovenly-looking guys... and was curious about what this was about...did they fight each other or soemthing?
then, one day, they had a show on...i can't remember what it was, specifically, but it was at night,so i know it wasn't All-American Wrestling, which was on Sunday's at noon...but they showed the replay of the Jimmy Snuka vs Magnificent Muraco Steel Cage Match for the IC Belt that took place in MSG....and i never saw anything like it before...the drama! the blood! the sheer intensity! the "Superfly Leap" off the top of the cage! i was hooked... literally,a couple weeks later the Iron Sheik won the WWF Title from Bob Backlund ,and then right after Hulk Hogan debuted (returned, really) to the WWF and won the title, and it was electric! and i was a goner...watching all the shows (which were limited to All ameican Wrestling and Tuesday Night Titans at the beginning) ,going to live events ....and i've never looked back!

The Main Event where Hogan lost the title to Andre, my grandma showed me a picture of Hulk Hogan a week or so before that event when I was going bat crap insane (I was 1.5 years old) and then she showed me whatever tapes they had at the house at the time and I was hooked. Never looked back.
