FINALLY... the WWE Rumblers have made it into my Mini and Micro Figure Database. And to give you a little comparison to what you may already have at home, or want to buy then, here is a quick Comparison Review:
First of all I have to say, I really like the line and the Cartoony way they're doing the figures, but there's nothing else when it comes to innovation in the rest of the line, by now, though.
Compare the Rumblers to the Mini Figures that Jakks has done before you'll find a lot of things that Jakks has released already, though it wouldn't be right, because the Jakks ones were more "reality like" and for ages 8+, while the Rumblers are targeting the youngest audience from 3+. On the other hand it seems that MATTEL has studdied the past of Jakks Mini Figures perfectly, look what I mean:
The folding chair from MATTEL has the same sizes like the Micro Aggression chairs, with some improvements when it comes to folding the chair
The RUMBLERS Breakaway Table is ways bigger then the Micro Aggression one
AND it has the same Breakaway technology as the FlexForce Tables, including folding the legs! Thats a big plus!
Its too big for the Micro Aggression Figures and in my opinion a little bit oversized for the Rumblers
Though I've found figures that fit PERFECTLY with this size: the First Jakks Mini Figures from the Action Ring and Figures Playsets
They also did a Casket, which isn't new in the Mini Figures section. Jakks did one in their Brawl for All series, which looks better when it comes to detail than the Rumblers one (as long as it is closed)
The Rumblers Casket has an Action Feature to open the Casket and it looks better inside than the B4A Casket
We're still missing a Title Belt in Both lines, the Micro Aggression and the Rumblers, but if you have your Smoking Skull Belt from Jakks' Build and Brawl Collection you can take it for the Rumblers and it will fit perfectly (COME ON MATTEL, PLEASE GIVE US A TITLE BELT!)
The best Mini Figures that works with the WWE Rumblers are the Grudge Match Figures from Playmates:
A little bit bigger are the Brawl 4 All Figures from Jakks, but work with the taller Rumblers good, too:
My conclusion: I really like the Rumblers and can't wait for more figures and accessory, though MATTEL has to create something that haven't been done before by Jakks to impress me (like a title belt). They're not only great to play with, but also to collect- so don't walk on by if you find them in a store near you.
