I've posted a few times on here about how people in my area love to steal and repack Mattel WWE figures. Pretty much happens for every single new Elite or Legends figure that comes out. Usually it makes me pretty mad, but yesterday I found one that cracked me up. It was a Defining Moments 2 Ultimate Warrior that someone had replaced with a Classics 1 Ultimate Warrior at the local TRU. At first I thought that might not be a bad trade off, but something about the face and hair looked wrong. After a couple seconds, I realized it was Stevie Richards - with his face painted to look like the Warrior! How desperate do you have to be to do that? I mean, I know these things are overpriced, but geez. I had management take it off the shelf. A couple months ago I also found that someone had replaced a Best of 2010 Undertaker with, of all things, Wolverine. (Maybe from an X-Men Origins: Wolverine line?) That cracked me up, too, but I didn't get around to uploading pics until now. I think this one is still at the local K-Mart.

The theft within Mattel's WWE line, is probably the worst I've seen in any toy line ever. I really wish stores would stop taking returns on wwe merchandise. It's a bit extreme, but it's the only way to stop it. Most store personnel are not familiar enough with the product to notice, or care, that they are getting scammed.

Lol, the Ultimate Stevie one is pretty hilarious, also when I seen the Undertaker rip off fig I thought it was an old Rico figure.

Only packaging swap I've ever come across was an elite Shad with a D'von Dudley head on it. The Ultimate Stevie is pretty awesome though, I definitely got a chuckle out of it.

At least it came with a belt. Creative repackers.

This is downright pathetic. I've not personally seen any repackages since Mattel started, but I saw it with Jakks all the time. And no that's not true. I saw an Elite 4 Jericho, in blue. But it was the 2pks Series 1 Basic Jericho. Head was swapped out and everything.

That happens a LOT around me. Who takes the time to paint something before they take it back? It's as if he needed that to ease his conscience.

well if mattel was smart....but this may raise the price tho. but i guess it will be better. have the carding change color or have a tin foil pop out......when u open the figure. like i.e. u open the figure, & the carding will have an outline of the plastic......this will let store employees know that this item was open. and the person returning the item better have a good excuse why........but i already see many pros/cons with this idea.

....they painted it AND put on a belt when it didn't come with one? That's just stupid more than just theft. That's mind boggling.
