I noticed on the packaging for Jakks "Six Sides of Steel" ring, the figures being played with are RI style (Abyss and Sting) - so is this ring specifically for the RI style figures (and Jakks' other/basic Six-Sided Ring for the larger DI figures)? Or are both the rings the same size?

the ring is pretty small for both to be honest its about the same comparison to the DA and the Spring ring

The ring works for both, but for once the ringposts go up high enough on a DA style figure for a ring to really work with them. The cage is also scaled more for DA figures. As said already, the size of the ring is average but I wouldn't complain, for the $32 I paid it is an awesome playset.
