Hey all, I dropped my iPhone 4 a few minutes ago and now my phone appears to be stuck in mute. I keep switching the mute button on and off but it's just stuck on mute; the two volume control buttons on the side of the phone will not work either. Am I royally ed or is there a way to fix it? I've restored my phone and it did not work.

It sure sounds like your device is effed. Did you buy Apple Care/store warranty when you bought the phone?

Did you try restarting the phone? I know it's a long shot but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, take advantage of the warranty if you have it.

The guy I spoke with on the phone from Apple said I was under the hardware warranty and to visit the Apple Store so they could fix it ASAP.
I did restart it, I restored it...did everything I could think of. I just have to make a visit to the Apple Store.

Hope they can replace it for you, man.

I hope so too. Maybe they can fix it somehow; like I said, EVERYTHING else on the phone works perfectly fine. Just can't get it out of mute for some reason.
