What's the story with a Bret "Hitman" Hart figure in the Legends line? Seriously, you're going to make Hillbilly Jim, Paul Orndorff, and countless other figures that with all due respect should have been on the back burner to the Hitman.
The Pillman and Bulldog gave me blue balls, I need a Bret. Also a proper Shawn Michaels. The Wrestlemania 12 one is great, but it's basic.
If I missed something here, slap me. My bad. But it seems strange to me.

Bret played hardball with them, and only recently signed a deal. As said above, there will be a Bret figure by the end of the year.

At Toy Fair, they announced that a Bret "The Hitman" Hart figure will be released late 2011. It will either be a Legends or Defining Moments. Possibly both!

Now that's what I wanted to hear. I need to add more Bret figures to my collection. A legends, and a defining moments figure would do just nicely!

I am expecting a Bret SDCC exclusive (if not, definitely and Andre SDCC exclusive) or a Bret RSF11 exclusive. It would make sense since SDCC is the end of July. Also, I am sure they were working on a figure of him during the contract negotiations.

I'll get the Bret Legends figure, but not Defining Moments (if at all).

I personally would love to see him in his Hart Foundation attire with Neidhart..... Also anyone know of any chance for the Brain Busters? They're my most wanted!!

I'll buy whatever old school version of Bret we get with the exception of the Survivor Series 93 look. Sight unseen I'm definitely grabbing the Defining Moment figure as Mattel will no doubt make an excellent Hitman and a Legends figure - maybe in tag team Hart Foundation era - would be perfect.
Brain Busters, I like where your head's at. Tully and Arn would be great to face off against the Road Warriors!

I'd buy up a Bret Hart figure for my fed. I could see him being one of very few Legends I'd actually use constantly. I used Vader for a bit, Steamboat sparingly, and haven't even begun to use Warrior (although I will very soon). But with Bret, there's endless possibilities of feuds I could do. Bret vs Batista is a major one that, for some odd reason, intriuges me very much.

Brain Busters would be great. I agree with some of the sentiment earlier. I'm not sure why the Bushwackers and Hillbilly Jim made it to the front of the line there.

Those type of guys made it to the front of the line because Mattel can't put all the top legends into each series. They have to spread it out & make it last...it wouldn't be as fun if we got everyone right off the bat. I think they have done a great selection of Legends so far.

Thanks, guys.
When this Mattel line started I figured at age 25 and with all the Jakks I had collected- it was probably time to put a period in it. But of course I got sucked back in when this line won me over with the quality and detail. In any event, once I did start collecting again I was baffled by the lack of a Bret or even a pic of a future Bret. I really appreciate the details, dudes!
