First off originally Hogan was supposed to face Austin in Wrestlemania instead of The Rock. My question, would Hogan have been cheered over Austin as he was the Rock?
What if Shawn Michaels didn't have to retire for 4 years leading up to the attitude era? Would he have jobbed for those years or would DX been stronger than ever? One thing is almost forsure HHH would have either not become as big as he is today or he would have had a longer wait.
And lastly, if Austin would not have become hurt in the "car accident" to Rikishi would he have main evented in Wrestlemania (16 I believe)

ill answer the first.
if it was now i think it would be 50 50 because the novelty of hogan coming back to the wwf/wwe isnt as huge as it was in 2002
however if it was 2002 and x8 i dont think that austin would of had as much booing as the rock but i think hogan would have the greater percentage of fans cheering.. can never be sure tho thats a hard one as there probs stil al little feeling of wcw vs wwf, there top guy and ours many hardcore wwf fans would no doubt have gotten behind austin but other hardend wwf fans that are older would have marked out like a bitch to see hogan at wrestlmania once again!

I predict Austin/Hogan would be around 50/50, but Hogan may have a slightly better applause for his nostalgia value.
I think if HBK would have stuck around within a year of WM14 a DX split would have taken place and he would have ended up feuding with HHH anyway, therefore pushing up HHH's game anyway and HBK would have remained a top guy without a doubt. I really wish he had been there because I would have loved an HBK/Rock or another HBK/Mankind feud.
And I'm also sure Austin would have main evented WM16 if he had been around.

I'll go 60/40 Austin in the cheers section. It would have meant more for Austin to face off against Hogan, there was already sustainable heat there.
HHH would not have become as big as he is today. HBK would have dominated those years and HHH would have remained a lackey for sometime to come. I would believe that he would have broken out on his own eventually. The real question is whether HHH would have become as big had he not married the bosses daughter?
I dont think the "car accident" story affected his main eventing WM.

I think that HBK would be nothing like he is today. A different person so-to-speak. Didn't he become a BAC durring that break? It's been a while that I've read his book. Hell, that break could have changed anyones life. HBK might not be alive today because of that break. C**** B***** might be alive, Eddie Guerrero. The smallest thing can change a persons life.

Why is Chris Benoit censored? It's not like you're the WWE, and you're trying to deny that a man who might have been your greatest worker once worked for you.
