I'm pretty sure the only thing that would be different is the name, I don't see how it would affect anything else.

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if they changed their name even with a win, especially since it's Sports Entertainment now.

The WWE couldve kept the WWF name if they donated $250,000-500,000 a year to the World Wildlife Fund and helped educate about endangered species but Vince doesnt do things that way.

I'd never heard that... Interesting. Still kind of insane they were basically trying to extort a charitable contribution.

I don't know that WWF asked for that but with WWE's pockets its kind of understood.

The only difference would be a lot less blurs on WWE 24/7 on Demand.

The better question is, if WWF were to go under as has been speculated in the past, and WWE could get the rights to the name, would they go back to WWF? WWE has built up the WWE name in recent years, yes, but there's more history with the WWF name, and the mainstream still refers to it as such. Either way, less blurring, woot!

Only difference I would see is a new logo design as the scratch logo of WWF would be almost 15 years .

Truthfully, with the changes the company has made over the last decade, it wouldn't have surprised me in the least bit if they went ahead and made the change anyway. They've distanced themselves so far from what the product once was, that "World Wrestling Entertainment" is far more fitting for the current generation. While it was partially forced on the part of the World Wildlife Fund, I think it may have been a discussion topic regardless.

Some titles may still be here and Jobbers would sometimes get wins over big superstars!
And just maybe superstars like Chris Benoit wouldn't of killed himself and Kurt Angle wouldn't of been released plus Test maybe WWE or World Heavyweight Champion at least once!

No, because its still about the initials, WWF, not the full name that it stands for. WWF has the rights to those initials, Foundation, Fund, or any other "F" word.

You make it sound like the WWE doesn't do a ton of charitable things, like their continuous efforts to the Make-a-Wish foundation, or their Tribute to the Troops specials/voyages, or their corporate donation to Red Cross following the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I think I can look the other way on not being forced to donate money to a company that sued them, just to keep their initials.
