is there a program that could let me edit song lengths or even combine multiple tracks into a single track? any help would be much appreciated

Audacity or Pro Tools if you want to go that one step further.

Audacity is cool, though I only use it to remove vocals. When I just want to change lengths, I simply edit with iTunes.

If you have a Mac, Garageband comes with it. So that would work fine. I wouldn't use Pro Tools cause it's an expensive recording software, it's great, you just wouldn't need it for something that simple.
