Okay, I have a small story, but bare with me.
I have been collecting Mattels since Day 1. I remember staying up until Midnight in January 1st, 2010 only to run to my WalMart and see NOTHING on the shelves. That changed after a few days though. I decided to check my TRU near me, where I picked up Series 0 Batista, Elite 1 Punk, and all of 2Packs 1. These were my first ever Mattel WWE figures. Since then, I have been collecting nothing but Mattel. I officially have no Jakks anything left. Everything has been sold off to new homes. Since that day, I have never had a problem with Mattel. I kept buying figures, ordered a few online, then I got into trading as well. That soon changed.
I recently received an order from RSC. I was so excited when I checked my email at work and saw it was delivered. I clocked out of work on the second to rush home and see the RSC box sitting on my porch, waiting for me to open it. Inside was Elite 8 Sheamus, Drew, Edge and Bourne, Defining Moments 3 and Elite Luke Gallows. I took a few snap shots, posted them here, then the trouble started. I was putting my figures up for display, when suddenly, I noticed something off on the Evan Bourne; HIS HAND WAS GONE!!! I thought optimistically and said, "well, maybe it was just loose and fell out." But no, I found it on the ground by my book shelf and the whole hand had completely snapped out of the arm. But, luckily, I acted quickly.
I called up Mattel. The lady on the phone was very nice and very polite. I told her what had happened and she asked for the number on the bottom of the box. She then asked me how much I paid for the item. I sent her the number and said the figure was $17.99, because that is how much I paid for it on RSC. She asked me to hold for a few minutes while she sent the information in to be "processed." It was great, she then started asking me how I liked the line and actually knew a few things about the WWE, so we were talking for a bit until she received an answer back. I WAS GOING TO GET A VOUCHER FOR $17!!!!
I was so happy and so grateful. I just received the voucher today and I was thrilled. Mattel handles there business so professionally and so well, I wouldn't want to be collecting any other figures from any other company.
Just thought I would share my story with everyone!!!!!!
