You could try 1 out of 3 ways to get rid of the smoke smell
1. there is a cleaner called OdoBan this stuff is great to get rid of unwanted smells (Like Pet, Smoke on clothes and any other stuff) But you need to put the figure in 90% water and 10% of Odo Ban...This stuff will take the paint off your figures...
2. Febreze the figure and put it out side for like a hour to see if that works...
3. Put the figure in a block of ice (I did this once and it work for some reason)

I put a little Febreeze on a paper towel and wipe the figures down, then let them dry.

Put them in a container you can seal and then put some baking soda in with it. Seal the container. The baking soda will absor the odor in a day or so

I'd love to hear the justification behind this Anyway, eventually the smell will even go on its own, if you keep the figures in a box with the rest of your collection, they will start to lose their smell, but the box will smell like plastic All true

Depends on how much smoke gets into the plastic, I've had figures that I couldn't get the smell out after multiple cleanings. Just got a Mattel lot in that smelled of smoke, I've tried regular soap/water, comet spray/water, and baking soda/water. After about 6 soakings the smoke is nearly gone.

Put the figures in a box, and put some baking soda with it. Should take a couple of days. I've done it before. It changes the smell a lot.

Well I guess you could take up smoking. Then it wouldn't matter :\
Just Kidding. I get pissed when I get figures off ebay and they smell like smoke. Smoking sucks.

The baking soda thing has never worked for me.
Get a carpet fresh powder, found in most air freshner sections of a store like Walmart. Put a lot down in a bowel and place the figure in it. Then cover the figure with the powder and leave it like that for a day. Repeat on each figure. IT HAS NEVER FAILED ME.

Febreeze is poope. Don't even bother with it. Get a tupperware and put the figure in it then cover in Kitty Litter. Works for some plastics but not others. Never tried with figures but It won't do any harm.
I reguarly used to use this method to remove the stench of smoke stained consoles (Super Nintendo was horrible for it) after performing retr0brite on them.

I remember getting figures from someone on here and I could smell the smoke when I took the package out of the mailbox. Ended up throwing the figures out because the smell was unbearable in my smoke free home.
