According to sources, WWE originally planned for Triple H to ride a Clydesdale horse to the ring for his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII. During a test run, the horse fell through the trap door on the WrestleMania stage, with Hunter riding it. The horse was spooked and went wild. Plans for the ring entrance were immediately scrapped. Source: Pro Wrestling Torch According to our source, the horse was a 'Clydesdale'. Wikipedia says "The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region." Our source says Triple H couldn't guide the massive animal away from the trap door, which had a casket (this would hold The Undertaker). That would then rise to the top of the stage during the entrances. According to the source, the horse fell through the stage with Triple H riding it and crushed the casket during the rehearsal. 'Taker was not inside at the time. The arena was immediately cleared of staff members and rehearsal was canceled. We've been told that the horse was stuck for hours and almost had to be euthanized due to the extreme stress it had suffered. WWE crew members also had to dismantle the stage so the horse could be freed. WWE management then made the call that it was not worth the risk and plans were scrapped. More shortly. www.ewrestlingnews.comthat would of been cool if HHH would of done that

Shame, cause both entrances sound like they would have been badass.

So is that why Undertaker was wheeled away on a little golf cart? It seemed awkward, whenever he plays "dead", the druids usually come out and carry him away in a casket. Knowing that a casket was in place and was crushed makes more sense as to the awkward ending.
Glad the horse wasn't seriously injured.

So the new Undertaker shirt.....of him being the "Last Outlaw".....and being on a horse...
So they were going to have HHH come out on a horse. What?

I thought him getting carried away like that worked due to the fact they actually treated the Undertaker like a normal man who holds onto his streak than a terrible zombie.

Sounds like a load of BS to me to be completely honest. Don't you think this would of been reported sooner.

I'm agreeing with the two guys above. This sounds like complete BS. Trust me, had a horse been trapped and almost crippled at a WWE rehearsal, you can bet your ass PETA would make sure the whole world knew about it by now.

Poor horsie. They're lucky this didn't happen live on PPV. haha wow. Especially since Taker would have been killed (if this is true). It does seem weird we're only hearing about this now.

Yeah, the hell with the staff and crew and their well being, as long as the horse wasn't seriously injured all is well. Don't get me wrong, I feel really bad for the horse and I'm sorry that the poor horse was traumatized, but I'm glad nobody was seriously injured. Not just the horse. Anyway, that's too bad because that sounded like that entrance would have been epic.

I said to my brothers while watching "watch Undertaker come out on a horse..."
Lo, and behold, somebody was supposed to.

I think it would've been more suited for Undertaker to ride a horse out to the ring since he's "The Last Outlaw". Would've been pretty cool and was actually pulling for that.
