I know it's way to early to talk about Wrestlemania 28, but everyone's talking about April 1st 2012 Rock vs. Cena. Well, April 1st happens to be a Saturday next year. As we all know, Wrestlemania and all other PPV's are always held on a Sunday. So what's up with this Saturday thing?

back in the 80s and early 90s ppvs were held on various days. i remember summerslam 93 was on a monday and i was just watching wrestling challenge from 94 when they promote the royal rumble being on a saturday. i personally would like it as growing up i always hated when the ppvs were on sundays because there was always school the next the day.

i remember when SummerSlam was always on a Monday night, usually a week or so before the school year started again,so it was always kind of a "last hurrah" to summer for me and my friends...
Survivor Series started out on Thursday's,as the Thanksgiving Tradition...then it switched to the day before,Wednesday, and became the "Thanksgiving eve Tradition"...
and, yeah, the Royal Rumble used to be on Saturday's....
it was kind of nice when it was like this, gave a special feel to the events...now every PPV is just a copy of each other....

4/1/12 is definitely a Sunday, because I'm painfully aware that 3/31/12 is a Saturday.
