He had some good matches with Santana and had a couple of good matches against guys like DiBiase in his face run, but his older matches were pretty bad. I still think his match against Pedro Morales was the worst IC title match where the belt changed hands, as it was about 15 minutes long, and 12 minutes of that was a headlock.
I was never around to see him, so this is all based on tapes, mind you.

I was fortunate to save a segment on Tuesday Night Titans where he & Mr. Fuji tried their hand at stand up comedy. It was so awful that it was hilarious! If I get some free time in the near future, I'll post it on Youtube.

He was a great Intercontinental champion for sure and I'll never forget his cage match with "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. Had a shocking ending and then the awesome "Superfly" leap from the top of the cage. What an awesome moment.

I always loved Muraco. I marked out for him when I was a kid during his face run w/Billy Graham.

No gimmick needed. Don was the personification of that. Back when that stuff was important.

i think the magnificent one is suffering athritis on his hand. you can see it clearly when he was strolling mr.fuji's wheelchair at wrestlemania.

To me Muraco was so incredible, especially as a heel.
On the mic he was great, and in ring he could sell like few others could.
In summary, to me, he truly had the it factor.
