After an extremely long day which included catching a 6 a.m. flight to Chicago ...spending 11 hours between wandering around O'Hare and 5 hours of training for work...then a 5 p.m. flight home I had this nice surprise waiting for me when I got here. Ordered it from Mattel over the weekend and according to UPS it was scheduled for delivery tomorrow when I checked yesterday. But it arrived a day early. Always a nice treat. Anyway...I have to say this has got to be one of the nicest wrestling figures I've ever seen...period. The detail on this thing is incredible. It's a true masterpiece when it comes to detail on a wrestling figure. I highly recommend everyone on this board buy this figure. You will NOT be disappointed. Also included some pics of the Elite 8 Bourne I bought last week but forgot to post pics of. I really only wanted it to do a fixup on his Basic 9 figure which after a lot of work I finally got finished. The boot swap was a huge pain but I now feel I have a near perfect Bourne. Enjoy! And here is my finished Basic 9 Evan Bourne fixup.

Man what an incredible figure, that Steamboat. Is it hard to remove his gear?

Steamboat Dm3 is a fantastic figure.
I didn't care for his gimmick (I don't think even he did) - but there's no denying that that figure gives a nice pop of colour in any figure display shelf.

Man what an incredible figure, that Steamboat. Is it hard to remove his gear? It isn't too bad since it's basically 6 seperate pieces including the arm bands. The tail comes off completely along with the head piece. Then the middle belt piece is it's own piece as well so that's easy to get off. The hardest piece to get off are the wings and shoulder straps. They unsnap in the back and you have to pull the shoulder straps over the head then slide the whole thing down and off at the feet. At least that's how I got it off. You could probably take it off over the head but it would stretch the side straps quite a bit getting them over the arms. So going down the body and off at the feet probably works best.

Great figures you got yourself. That Steamboat is amazing, and after seeing your pics, I might just get it along with HHH when they hit stores. Same applies for Bourne. Both figures look very nicely done and the unique parts for Bourne make it even better.

That Steamboat has to be a candidate for ,at least, the top 10 Mattel WWE figures ever produced. Horrible gimmick that basically went nowhere for The Dragon ,but damn it makes for sweet figure goodness. I can't wait to buy myself one of those. Great pickup on that E8 Bourne too.
