Matt is great. Tjey have impressed me with the new lines: PPV8, E8, E9, E10,B11,B10. The only complaint of mine is that the elites

They pretty much are everything you could ask for in a wrestling figure. detail is amazing and the amount of Superstars we already have is phenomenal. people have complained about QC problems but i've yet to see one and i have over 60 mattels. i'd say just pick up one or two of the guys you really dig and check them out. if you're anything like me you'll be hooked.

The Elite/Legend figures are pretty much what I wanted to have growing up. It's sad in that way, because it's too late to really enjoy them with a child's mindset, but it's also really nice at the same time. Overall, I'm very happy with them. Plus, they made Hart Foundation '97 Bulldog and Pillman. I have the softest spot imaginable for that time period, and I never thought I'd see the day where higher-end figures of those particular attires from that particular time period would be made. If we're able to get Bret (highly likely) and Anvil from those days as well, I'll be set. I agree that its a disappointment that now a days the companies make so many different guys and in so many different attires. but then again I probably would have bankrupted my parents with how many and how often they come out. Thankfully I was still a kid during the TTL era so I did get a few good years. But it did also suck growing up when Jakks kept changing their primary lines as essentially all we ever got was the main guys

i been WWE Mattel fan since january 2010. Jakks is not bad either but Mattel beat them on every way.
i agree with that their price is too high. and like i sayd thousand times its not good because i have no other choice than buy them from online coz they don´t sell anykind wrestling toys this country...but few finnish online stores have them but price ridicilous. 30 euro for basic Triple H is too damn much.
I only collect now mint on card mattel but i open my elite figures.

I'm a fan of Jakks and Mattel. Both definately have their place in a wrestling collection. Mattel has got the edge on Jakks in the detail department hands down. Playability/Poseability on the 2 companies are about the same. Jakks does have the edge in variety and on most (not all) headscans. I love the Mattel offerings themselves and have over 140 figures ,the ESR,and (almost) every Superstar ring too.The issues I have is that since 2011 started, there's been almost no new product at the retail level here. There's been a trickling of B9,B10,and at least 1 spotting of TLC float in. Leave quickly and never get restocked. Unless you're in the market for half of B8,WMH or E7 there is nothing to choose from here. RSC,Mattelshop or Amazon have been my only saviors this year. Last year I found EVERYTHING at retail. No issues with distribution other than a couple series being behind ,but never by much. But make no mistake the figures themselves are great. If they can keep the Legends line going and have a good mix of characters done, they can probably get a deep pool of Superstars to display. They may never reach the depth of Jakks amount of figures ,but I would love to see them continue and get at least half the amount of Jakks ,with the detail only Mattel can deliver.

I love my mattel elites and legends. I love that they are in scale (for the most part with few exceptions). The basic series is great because they can mix right in with elites and still remain close to scale. I focus on elites and legends now though I plan to acquire all of nexus. Hope your collecting goes well!

They're very good & listen to the fans, but I don't collect that often anymore because they're very expensive...the last time I bought a Basic fig was like December....they definitely do better than Jakks except the playability & some look worse than their Jakks counterparts like Edge's figs

I'm very happy with Mattel's product. They've gotten progressively better since they took over the WWE license in January of '10. The character selection is top notch with them already pumping out most of the current roster. The scale is incredible and the figures are way more realistically proportioned which I love.
The only downside of Mattel is the price point and distribution to some places outside of the United States. I haven't gotten a figure in stores for months and have resorted simply to online shopping. With that said, I've heard that Basic 8 is starting to pop up in Canada so here's hoping to better distribution.

I'm getting bored of Mattel for some reason. Maybe it's bcause i have too many figures. A whole room dedicated to WWE.
I also met all the wrestlers i want to meet, save for a few. Met Undertaker, Cena, Edge, Miz, HBK, etc etc.
For the upcoming lines, i'm just sticking to Elite Miz, Zac Ryder, Wade Barrett, Del Rio and Legends.
Going to be really selective.
