I've been waiting ang waiting and waiting for new Elites to arrive at local stores (WalMart, Target, TRU, ANYTHING!) and...nothing. As we know, WalMart keeps the most current stock of WWE figures and I check there regularly (if I'm there for anything). I mainly collect Elites (not a Legends fan) and I have the majority of the Elites released so far.
I'm getting really discouraged because I am so looking forward to the CURRENT and upcoming sets. The only figures stocked at my local retailers are Elite 4 and 6. Elite 4 was released OVER A YEAR AGO and Elite 6 a good 8 months ago. I don't live out in the middle of nowhere, also. I live in northern California, right between San Francisco and Sacramento. I could understand if I lived in the midwest there would be a stagnating figure distribution, but there is no excuse to have product from over a year ago still on the shelves. All I'm asking for is current stock to come in from...well...the last 6 months. I have yet to see Elite series 7 or 8. I keep reading about people on here finding E7 and 8 and I have never seen them. Am I the only one who is having such a hard time finding figures from the last six months?

They can't put on new product until the old ones sell. I have WalMarts and Targets like yours in my area too. We're pretty much screwed.

Your best bet is to buy them online if you're in a rush.

Its the same in a lot of places. I have 1 particular Walmart that stayed up to date and sold briskly. Then when E7 hit everything changed. They sold thru 3-4 cases easily. Empty pegs for 3 weeks, thought E8 was on its way. Then here came 4 more cases of E7. None have sold yet and my chances at finishing E8 at retail are nihl. The Walmarts around me don't carry Elites. And don't get me started on trying to find 2 packs here. Now Target, however,is inexcusable totally. No basic figures since Xmas. Plenty of L3,full priced EG Pipers,E4 and 6 ,and FF crap. But 4 consistenly since late Dec'10,empty pegs for basics. When I see people on here finding B9 and TLC figures at their Targets,I'm baffled at the uselessness of mine.

This is what I do, When I get the figure I look for matches on them or if they've had a DVD released Mr Perfect, Ultimate Warrior, Ricky Steamboat etc.

You are not alone. I am beginning to think the best way to get the figures is pay a little more online. With gas prices the way they are and lack of figures in the area, its worth the extra $$. I wish I would have done this sooner.

One of my Walmart sells stuff decently so there's almost always new stock, even if it's a little slower then the East coast distrubition.

My local Walmart is updated when it comes to Elites, but my TRU is more updated on Basics, and my Kmart is more updated on 2 Packs.

i feel your pain. i work in the toy section of walmart and we are sitting on 4 sets of elite 7. im dumb founded because im not the one who does the ordering. i tell my dept manager only order 3 sets because i know how they sell. for a fact 1 whole set will be bought by me and the other 2 will sell in time for the next series to be ordered and put out but here we are with extra elite series 7. 4 extra sets. because if ppl like us keep showing up looking for new stuff but keep seeing the old we are gonna get discourage on going to that store. im trying to help them out but nope. so not only are we not gonna get elite 8 but probly not elite 9 either. it sucks big time.

Unbelievable. So do you think those Elite 8 and 9 series will be skipped at retail. I mean, EVENTUALLY those E7's will be bought (however long that will take) and when the store actually reorders new stock, will it be older stuff or the latest?

In my stores in nj we have a ton of e7, but have yet to see E8, nothing in finding boards from nj, or on eBay from sellers in nj.

Its the very SAME scenario here on the East coast in South Carolina. Elite 7's hit months ago....however every (and the ROck means EVERY) Wal-Mart seems to have an endless supply of Elite 7's, with no Elite 8's in sight.
While I want them, I am still not willing to pay $25 each (or more), plus shipping.....it all combines for a great frustration.

I can sympathize..I am caught up through Elite 9 but onkly because I have given up and buy through RSC. Between $3.90 a gallon, slow restocking at retail and time constraints, it's actually much more cost effective to buy online at this point.
99% of my toy purchases are now done online and it's just so much easier that way.
