yeah i dont think the prices are bad at all in the US ha $15 plus tax for an elite you get what you pay for too with articulation, detail, and accessories. thats really not a bad price retail. Now when it gets above $25 for an elite it starts becomming a little to much then for one figure... 10 for basics aint bad at all either, you see every other action figure running 7-15 bucks thats really nothing to complain about especailly when were getting what we always wanted in a wrestling figure now from mattel. My advice, start appreciating things the way they are and the price they are because you got to remember ppl have it much worse in other places. It could be much worse, we could be paying $40-$50 for elites or $20 for basics even.. I'm from America and i see it everyday, Americans are way to spoiled in this country they all bitch whine and complain of miner things and forget that life could be alot worse for you especially buying things. Yeah the economy is down and prices are rising on everything but its still not bad. It could and may eventually get alot worse. So appreciated the things we got now

Well I doubt it will get any worse. I am already dangerously close to stopping. If the prices were any higher, I would. Very few people would pay 20 dollars per fig for a series of elites. I certainly wouldn't. I still think prices should be about 2 dollars cheaper. Basics should be 8. Elites should be 12.99. I love Walmart's 7.97 basic sales. That is a fair price. I no longer shop at tru because 11.99 basics and 16.99 elites are unacceptable. But hey, at least they aren't 30 Switzerland style.

Am I the only one that doesn't see that big of a difference? Jakks figures toward the end of their WWE run weren't exactly dirt cheap either. I agree Completely Mattel Gives us what we pay for in detail not like jakks who tries to make a huge profit on us

I find it kinda funny, how you lucky americans complain about your "high prices". 22$ for a DM. In Germany you pay 45€ which is like 50$ for a Defining Moments Fig. Elite are like 30$ and Basics are 22 $ Well her gas is nearing 5 bucks where I live. And when you don't have the luxury of an easy job.. Prices get a little crazy. I make 20 bucks an hour but I run a full lumber yard on my own. Wwhich can be an extreme strain. So it's not like making money is super fun with that job.. Especially knowing I'm getting rid of it in bulk just purchasing 2 figures.. As opposed to 4 like I used to. (bought more than one figure at a time, like most)

Just to say.. Mattel does Trump Jakk's. Compare the two exclusive Kanes for instance.
The ComicCon Taker to TTL5 Taker. Huge difference. But it almost seems as if it gets to their heads.

I think it is funny that everyone is saying "well here we pay" "what are you complaining about they are blank high here" When you need to take in consideration that minimum wage is different all over the world too.
USA Minimum Wage is $7.25-$8.40 an hour depending on state Austraila Minimum Wage is $15 an hour United Kingdom Minimum Wage is $9.60 an hour
Just wanted to throw that out there. This also needed to be taken into consideration.

i think its totally wrong for people to justify stealing figures because they cant afford them. heres an idea... if u cant afford them dont get them! Money gets really tight for me from time to time and I just cut out the stuff that isnt necessary until I get back on track. it takes patience and discipline which is a problems for a lot of people these days. I love these figures just as much as anyone but at the end of the day they are just pieces of plastic.
