All the wrestling sites are reporting certain heals will get managers. Kidd & Hayes, Ziggler & Vickie and whoever else is planned could breathe some life in the 2 packs. Do you think so?

No kid is going to want Michael Hayes, Legend or current. No kid is going to want a Vickie Guerrero.
That is the problem with Legends figures and any character other than the top 5 on RAW/Smackdown.....once the adult Collector's get what they want in the initial waves, there isn't enough interest from kids in the obscure characters to move the product.
That is why Legends figures don't sell. Hell, the All-Stars 2-packs aren't even selling and they have some pretty major characters from the past/present.
I think Michael Hayes would clog up shelves forever.....unless it was super rare like 1 every few cases as a chase for adults. No kids would buy it.

If he stays a manager for a long time on TV then yeah. I've wanted a ring gear Vickie for a long time. She should be an exclusive.

You know who would be a GREAT manager? Arn Anderson.
Credible, great on the stick, and respected.
And yes I would buy Hayes as a manager. I also agree that sold single it would likely clog shelves. In a two pack with Kidd, it would clog shelves. But maybe if he is put with someone more sought after, then yeah he'd sell.

No definetly not, the guys boring, and whoever said legends arnt selling because they arent who the kids want, why would that matter... Its an adult collector line. Just as jakks classic figures were sold to adults so are the legends. I don't know one kid who would rather a wwe legend over john cena or zakk ryder.

Judging from the response so far it looks like the WWE is making a big mistake. They're trying to help the younger guys by pairing them with a manager. But you all hate Hayes and Vickie. Not a good way to increase interest in the mid-carders.;D

I'd prefer him and Jimmy Garvin as the WCW era Freebirds since we never got Jakks versions of those. But yeah I'd buy a modern basic format Hayes too.

Well, you got the Hayes version of that, minus the cape. Garvin just hasn't been produced. I want WCCW Hayes circa 1983, I know everybody loves nostalgia, but they should be releasing these guys when they're at their peaks, not when they are becoming irrelevant.

No I want the Freebirds!!!!
any incarnation - but since Hayes & Garvin were only done in Galoob-style, I wouldn't mind seeing a Mattel 2-pack of them!

It's like four different colored Spidermans and one villain. That's what the basic series will soon look like. There isn't one toy line on the market that doesn't have pegwarmers. I don't know why wrestling figures would be any different.

I'm hoping we see a Freebird set soon. And if he sticks with Tyson long enough I'd like a current Hayes as well. I'd buy em both.
But I'm all for a Heenan in the Legends line ASAP, and maybe a Vickie for the Basic/Elite line also. Bring em all on.
