I really only like "Retail" by Norm Feuti, and "Pearls Before Swine" Stephen Pastis.

I think the last time I read a news paper was 10 years ago. I never found any of the comics very amusing. BUT I will say the comic stip that most made me laugh was LOVE IS. I just use to always laugh at girls who took Love is to heart, they would clip and save the Love is Comic and I always thought they were so cheesy/lame. So while the content wasnt to my liking, I did like peoples reactions to it.

My favorites are Zits, Baby Blues, The Far Side, and FoxTrot.
My least favorite is Family Circle, the punchlines from that comic strip are always lame and unfunny.

If anyone says "Funky Winkerbean", I will swim/drive/fly to your house & give you the worst purple nurple EVER!
The Star Ledger (huge NJ newspaper) wanted the comic reader's opinions on the comic section they have. I fired off an email that night. Here it is:
Hello.
I hope you take my opinion into consideration, even though how outlandish it might be.
Please get rid of Funky Winkerbean! This "comic strip" has NEVER been funny. I look forward to reading the comics for a laugh and to forget all about the troubles & turmoils that I read on the front page. Why would someone constantly bombard the comics with plot lines of mail bombs, cancer, drunk driving, shell shock, alcoholism and chemotherapy? Sure, Andy Capp gets drunk all the time, but you expect that from him because he's British. I'm going to bite my tongue & refrain from name calling. But (creator of the strip Tom Batiuk) is a wet blanket. No sir, he stinks and I don't like him.
Thank you.
Regards,
Frank K.
A grumpy old man.
I'm hoping that they actually print it. I'll keep you posted.
As for my favorite, I usually take the Family Circus comics & put my own captions underneath. My friends & I have been doing it for yeas and come up with some zingers.

I dig me some Evil Inc. One of my favorites was when they tried to summon DC's Power Girl by turning on a signal light resmbling the hole in her outfit.
