Well, I must admit that I am NOT a fan of the Basic Line from Mattel. However, a long time RA buyer has broken down and started buying the occasional Elite/Legend figure. The later series seem a little larger (Mr. Perfect is much bigger than the Elite Series 1 MVP). So, with TNA figures pooing out and them not even making RA anymore, I think I will start paying more attention to the Elite/Legends figures from here on out. I am no longer interested in being a completist, as a lot of the current roster bores me (as do their bland attire and figures) but I really like The Legends 5 Warrior, the AWESOME Ricky Steamboat (with the dragon suit) and Akeem. I'm also glad that I bought the Macho Man figures (RIP). So, yes, Mattel, I guess I will start buying your product. You win.

You won't regret it man! Some of the best wrestling figures ever to be produced. Oh, and I'm guessing you are referring to the Legends 6* Warrior? I just received mine yesterday, possibly my favorite figure of all time.

Oh, yeah, Warrior from 6. The belts are really great, too.
My favorite belt of all time is the IC title so I bought the Drew Elite for that. The belts are cool.

Just so you know Mr Perfect was a figure that was out of scale. (too tall) most aren't that big.

They're also pretty easy to make any changes, i.e. reducing Perfect's height so he's better scaled with the others. And it's also a pretty cool thing that we can care about scale in this line too ;-)

I hate the way people will say that "I'll only buy Jakks." or "I'll only but Mattel." they're both good in their own ways.
Glad to see you join the family.

I thought I would only get a few Mattels as well... now I'm building a whole new collection. Nice to see another funding Mattel now and giving them more business.
On a side not about the Mr.Perfect figure, what calves can be switched out that are the same width but make him shorter? I know Duggans do but they hang out of the boot too much for my liking.

Welcome a board , I Think this is what made mattel have such slow sales..... many people , like myself, vowed not to start a new collection, but resistance is futile .... as the star trek nerds say
