TNA Wrestling executive and personality Eric Bischoff stated on his Facebook account last night that he arrived in New York City for meetings this weekend. He wrote, “Just arrived in NYC for meetings over the weekend. Some pretty exciting stuff happening. Going to try and get in a 3 mile run before my first meeting tonight and try out this new pair of NIKE Frees! I have been wanting to try.” One of his meetings included an encounter with Bill Goldberg. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion posted a video on his Twitter account this morning of himself and Bischoff flying above New York City in a helicopter. Regarding the video post, he wrote, “The last tweet was a sign of the end of the world….”

This doesn't mean Goldberg met with TNA Executives..."executive" would be the better word, but both of them have duties/jobs out of pro-wrestling. They could easily be working on a project, outside of wrestling, together.

...or they could just have got together for a day because they're old friends and work colleagues.

who needs him anymore at his age? Plus he always sucked as a wrestler. He's like Hogan only knows one move.

But what if it had a chance to help a company with ratings (not saying it will just saying "what if"). Hogan "can't" wrestle anymore to old. Goldberg still should be able to. I'm sure the spear and Jackhammer would draw a lot more money than the leg drop in this day and age.

I'll agree that he's over the hill and he wasn't always great in the ring but don't compare him to Hogan. He could, on occasion, bring something decent. Watch the infamous match with Steven Regal (the "stiff" match) on Youtube. Goldberg does more different moves in that match that Hogan would typically do in a year.

Yeah, Goldberg is TNA would be the last straw for me. They don't need him coming in and crushing talent in five minute matches. Only way I'd be for that is if they built him up and built Joe up at the same time, ending in a match with Joe going over.

I think the ship has sailed on Goldberg as a household name and a guy that can draw a bigger audience. If the arrival of Hogan/Hardy/Anderson didn't do anything for ratings, how would Goldberg?

I dont think it will work if he came in like he did in WCW and just run over all the wrestlers in 2 minute squash matches, If he were to put on good matches and loose occasionally I think it would be good
