3) Singles Bout [MODERN] Cameron Stone vs. Jack Stipulation: Book the departure of Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff from TNA
Cameron Stone defeats Jack via Count Out! Stone will receive 1 point for handing in, 3 points for winning and points for each person who votes!
Cameron Stone SWA - Book Hulk Hogan's departure from TNA Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and the rest of Immortal made the year of 2011 hell for almost everyone within TNA. Fortune was at war with them, but could never really gain any true footholds in the battle, as every time they came close, Hogan would come out with another ace up his sleeve. But it had almost seemed like the end was near, as Hogan had been stripped of his former power in the company, and Eric Bischoff wasn't in as much control as before. But numbers are everything, and Immortal simply had too many members, and thus, they were able to keep control over most of what happened, to the dismay of Dixie Carter. However, a shining beacon of hope for TNA was on the horizon. They needed a champion, one who could get rid of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff once and for all. And they would get this champion, and ironically, it would be the doing of Immortal themselves that made him spring into action, and start taking this role very seriously. The champion of TNA, or course, was Sting. Here is how that came to be. Sting had been on a tear since returning, winning the TNA Championship and running with itm defending against the likes of Mr. Anderson, RVD, and Jeff Hardy. Immortal was really wanting Sting to lose the championship, but they wanted someone from within to be the man to take the championship. At Slammiversary, Mr. Anderson would get his one on one shot against Sting, and Immortal tried to recruit him into their ranks, but Anderson refused, saying that he didn't need a group like that behind him to become champion, that he could, and would, do it on his own. Unfortunately, that was not meant to me, as Sting defeated him at Slammiversary. Meanwhile, Hogan and Bischoff had managed to get a bit of their power back, due to a clause in their contracts when they originally were brought into TNA, that they had been waiting until the right time to reveal. This gave them equal power to Dixie Carter, but no more, no less, so things seemed at a stalemate. Both Dixie and Hogan would cancel out each others authority moves, and now TNA was essential the inmates running the asylum. The Network was unable to really do anything, and so at Destination X, Dixie and Hogan finally came to an agreement. One member of Immortal would get a title shot, as would one other superstar of her choosing, in a triple threat match. Dixie chose AJ Styles, while Hogan chose Bully Ray. In the match, Styles and Ray were so hell bent on taking each other out, Sting was able to retain the title. n the next Impact, Dixie and Hogan agreed to a one on one matchup between AJ Styles and Bully Ray, and whoever won would be the one to get the title shot at Hard Justice. AJ Styles would reign supreme here, and move onto the PPV, but again, Sting was able to achieve victory. Once again, a similar arrangement was made, with Mr. Anderson taking on Abyss of Immortal, with the winner getting a title match at No Surrender. Anderson won, and got a second chance at getting the title, and more importantly, Immortal was on a string of bad luck. At No Surrender, however, the plan was revealed, as during the match, when the referee got hurt, Hogan came down to ringside, aiding Anderson, who had sold his soul and joined Immortal, all so he could become the TNA Champion. With Immortal's aid, Anderson defeated Sting to get the gold at last. On the following Impact, an enraged Sting had said he had enough, and he went to the Network, who had also had enough. They wanted Hogan gone for good, and Sting was going to be the the one who made that happen. Hogan scoffed at this, until Sting revealed his plan, which the power hungry Hogan could not resist. At Bound for Glory, Sting was challenging Hulk Hogan to a match. In this match, interference from anyone would be banned, no matter which side they were on. Interference would result in immediate termination of the individuals involved. If Sting won, Hogan and Bischoff were gone from TNA for good, never to be seen again. However, if Hogan won, he would get 100% control of TNA permanantly. A contract for this match was brought down, and Sting and Dixie Carter signed it, and after a few seconds deliberation, so did Hogan. The next few weeks, Immortal tried to take out Sting before the match, but always failed as Fortune was guarding Sting like a hawk. Finally, it was time for the champion of TNA to put it all on the line. Hulk Hogan spent a lot of time at Bound for Glory trying to convince wrestlers, both from Immortal and otherwise, that it would be worth their careers to help him win tonight, for a better future, but he was shot down time and time again, and finally, Hogan went out to face Sting, inwhat was strangely familiar to 1997. In the match, Hogan got an edge for a little while, but was just unable to hold on to it, and the referee was letting anything go in this match, not wanting a DQ finish to something so important. At the end, Hogan began to Hulk Up, but Sting ended that with a baseball bat shot to this head, followed by a scorpion death drop for the win, to save TNA and get rid of Hogan and Bischoff for good.

4) Singles Bout [NO PRESET] Duaner vs. Mike Bockwinkel Stipulation: What if Shawn Michaels never lost his smile?
Duaner defeats Mike Bockwinkel via Count Out! Duaner will receive 1 point for handing in, 3 points for winning and points for each person who votes!
Duaner WHAT IF HE NEVER LOST HIS SMILE? |
Everyone knows the story. Shawn Michaels achieved his boyhood dream by winning his first WWF Championship at Wrestlemania XII after defeating Bret Hart in an epic sixty-minute iron man match that ended in a 0-0 tie and needed to go to overtime. After holding the title for most of the year and then dropping the belt to Sycho Sid at the Survivor Series, Michaels was able to regain the championship belt at the 1997 Royal Rumble. But, Michaels delivered shocking news on a special edition of Raw dubbed 'Thursday Raw Thursday', where he told Vince McMahon and all of the WWF fans that he has sustained a knee injury that would put him out of action and he had no choice, but to vacate his newly won WWF Championship. But, more importantly, Shawn made a comment about how he needs to 'regain his smile' for the business. Shawn, hinting that he was burned out and needed time away from wrestling, hung up the boots and wouldn't return until later that summer. The rest his history really...Bret Hart wins the Championship and the 'unforgettable' Montreal Screwjob takes place at Survivor Series 1997, which leads to Bret Hart leaving the company for the rival, World Championship Wrestling. Many people say that Shawn never really had knee surgery and didn't want to drop the championship to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 13. Well, that's where we pick up. Shawn Michaels never loses his smile and continues to wrestle against doctors orders. |
1997 PAY-PER-VIEW HIGHLIGHTS
In Your House: Undisputed [02/16/97] - In a #1 contenders match to ultimately decide who will challenge the WWF Champion at Wrestlemania 13, Bret Hart made Stone Cold Steve Austin submit to the Sharpshooter after a grueling match. After being screwed by Austin at the 1997 Royal Rumble, Hart gained revenge and a title shot at Wrestlemania 13! - Also, the WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker, unlikely allies, took on Sycho Sid & Vader in tag team action. Undertaker and Michaels were victorious after Michaels delivered the Sweet Chin Music to Vader.
Wrestlemania 13 [03/23/1997] - In the main event of the night, Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels tore the house down in a rematch from a year earlier and this time, Bret Hart walked out of the arena victorious after locking Michaels in the Sharpshooter and forcing him to submit in the center of the ring. The match went for over a half hour and both men were gassed after. Michaels went to walk out as Hart was celebrating but Hart pulled him back and offered his hand out of respect. Michaels agreed and the two shared a tension filled moment as WM13 came to a close.
In Your House: Hitman Hunted? [04/20/97] - Early in the night, Shawn Michaels did battle with a man who had become a thorn in his side since Wrestlemania, Mankind. Michaels & The Undertaker have had an unspoken alliance since February and Mankind has taken offense to this since he doesn't like anything to do with 'Taker. Paul Bearer tried to interfere on Mankind's behalf, but the referee through him out of the match. Michaels then finished off Mankind with a Sweet Chin Music. (Later in the evening, when the Undertaker cut a promo, Bearer told 'Taker to fear his past.) - Also, in our main event, Bret Hart was forced to defend his newly won WWF Championship against 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Austin had been goating Hart about giving him a shot since he was rightfully the number one contender. Austin & Hart did battle in a helluva fight and it seemed that Austin had the title wrapped up until Owen Hart & the British Bulldog came down and attacked him, causing a disqualification. As the three men beat down Austin, Shawn Michaels & the Legion of Doom came running down for the save, officially turning Austin babyface and starting a new feud.
In Your House: Family First [05/11/97] - After a month of Bret Hart talking about how he decided to put his family in front of his career and the fans, a 6 man tag match was made, where Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels & Ken Shamrock, a mutual ally, took on the WWF Champion and the WWF Tag Team Champions, the Hart Foundation. The entire motive of the match was that Hart was disgraced that his fans couldn't care that he won the WWF Championship again and it was time to forget putting them first. In the actual match, it seemed that the babyfaces had won until the now recovered Brian Pillman attacked Austin & Michaels with chairs while the referee was down. Bulldog then made the cover on Shamrock for the win.
King of the Ring 1997 [06/08/97] - In the King of the Ring tournament, Hunter Hearst Hemsley defeated Faarooq to become the 1997 King of the Ring! - Also in action, the Hart Foundation defended their WWF Tag Team Championships against Ken Shamrock & Shawn Michaels, but were unsuccessful as Brian Pillman and Bret Hart ran interference on the outside. Owen then rolled up Shamrock to score the three count. - Finally, in our main event, Bret Hart was forced to defend his WWF Championship against Steve Austin with any member of the Hart Foundation banned from ringside! Hart & Austin fought an excellent bout and Austin was sizing Hart up for the Stunner, but Hart ducked and nailed a low-blow behind the referees back. Hart covered Austin up, but he kicked out at 2! Hart, seemingly frustrated that he cannot win, so he knocked out the referee 'by accident' by throwing Austin into him on purpose. With the referee down, Hart locked in the Sharpshooter and Austin submit, but there was no referee. Shawn Michaels came running out and got right into Bret's face...and SUPERKICKED STEVE AUSTIN! Hart smirked and Michaels told him they have unfinished business. Hart retained after pinning Austin in the middle of the ring.
- Around this time, Bret Hart was expressing interest in talking with World Championship Wrestling about possibly coming over, as the WWF was in a tough financial state and could not afford to pay Hart the original 20-year contract he was offered. Vince McMahon gave Hart his blessing and told him to talk to WCW about leaving the company. Talks ensued but nothing came about and Bret Hart eventually turned around to sign a smaller deal to stay with the WWF. Vince McMahon was quoted in an interview saying that he and Bret 'have never been on better terms.' Meanwhile, Shawn Michaels was in the same boat as Hart and wanted a payday. Behind McMahon's back, Michaels went to talk to WCW about possibly jumping over and voiding his WWF contract.
In Your House: Canadian Stampede [07/06/97] - In our main event for the evening, Shawn Michaels, who was playing a tweener character, and Steve Austin squared off to see who would face Bret Hart at Summerslam. After a grueling match with action going back and fourth, Bret Hart came down to spectate with the Hart Foundation. The crowd chanted for Bret over anyone in the match and this infuriated Michaels in which he botched a cross-body and almost broke Austin's neck. Either way, the match ended with Michaels reversing the Stunner into a Sweet Chin Music to earn a shot at Hart next month. Hart clapped sarcastically from the outside as Hart/Michaels III was set!
- It was believed at this time that Shawn Michaels had signed a contract with World Championship Wrestling and would be starting there in September. Michaels shot down all rumors and Vince McMahon stood firmly that one of his stars would not be leaving the company.
Summerslam 1997 [08/03/97] - In front of a sold out crowd in New Jersey, Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart III took place for the WWF Championship with all outside interference barred. These two put on a real show for these fans and almost wrestled for another 30 minutes before it was starting to wind down. Hart had Michaels locked into the Sharpshooter and Michaels almost tapped before he reached the ropes and out of desperation, nailed a Sweet Chin Music and rolled on top of Hart for the win! The crowd was going absolutely nuts as the boyhood dream had come true again and Michaels got to his feet to celebrate and had a microphone handed to him. He thanked the fans for coming out and he actually thanked Bret Hart for putting on a spectacular match. But then, Michaels got serious and told the fans that he was tired of playing second fiddle to the man he just faced and noted that he would never lived up to expectations of the WWF. He dropped the WWF Championship on the mat and told the crowd that he has bigger plans and these plans culminate in World Championship Wrestling! The crowd was stunned as Michaels actually did sign the contract and just screwed Vince over! McMahon came down to the ring and told Michaels that he will see his ass in court and Michaels sucker punched his now former boss right in the face! The crowd was absolutely stunned silent as Michaels walked out of the arena with his usual swagger.
- The aftermath consisted of Shawn Michaels jumping to WCW on the first of September and a lawsuit filed against Michaels & WCW by Vince McMahon. The courts ruled in favor of McMahon and noted that Michaels couldn't wrestle in WCW until the new year and his WWF contract became void. This, unfortunately for McMahon, worked in the favor of WCW, as the debut of Shawn Michaels in WCW drew a 9.2 cable rating, unheard of for professional wrestling at the time. WCW, to this day, has never lost another ratings battle with any other wrestling company. So really, since Shawn Michaels never lost his smile, he caused the death of the World Wrestling Federation in 2003, as Eric Bischoff, now full-owner of WCW, bought out the Federation for a mere $2 million. Shawn Michaels was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 2011...

5) Singles Bout; SWA Modern Championship Match Shifty (c) vs. Rated R Stipulation: Re-book the return of Bret Hart to WWE
Both Shifty and Rated R will receive one point for handing in!
Shifty [/b] Dayton, OH - Monday Night RAW rolls into town, and for the first time in nine years, will have direct competition, as TNA Wrestling's iMPACT! makes an audacious move to Monday Night's, with TNA boasting the immortal Hulk Hogan, as well as many other stars of wrestling as the reason behind making this bold move. However, keen not to be beaten by the competition, and knowing John Cena will not be available for the show due to publicity commitments, Vince McMahon reveals a giant ace card, one man, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart. Bret Hart is an icon of professional wrestling, bragging to be the 'Best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be' and with good reason as well. Inside the ring, few could match his technical prowess and ring psychology, with Hart having a string of classic matches to his name with such stars as Steve Austin, and Shawn Michaels. A man Vince McMahon himself said that any wrestling company could build their franchise around, Hart was adored by millions around the world, and in his native Canada was a hero to many. However, in November 1997, Vince McMahon 'screwed' Bret Hart in the most infamous moment in professional wrestling history, the Montreal Screwjob, leading to Hart leaving the then WWF and heading to rivals WCW. This run in WCW lead to the premature end of the career of Bret Hart, as after injuries, and the death of his brother Owen had already led to him missing significant time in the ring, an irresponsible kick to the head from a green Goldberg ended Hart's career. Fast forward a decade. Bret Hart has not appeared on any television show produced by World Wrestling Entertainment in 12 years. However, finally, there is an opening. In the summer of 2009, Monday Night RAW began bringing in Guest Host's to run the show. Such stars as Shaquille O'Neal, Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Snoop Dogg appeared on RAW during this window of oppurtunity, and with McMahon wanting to beat TNA in the ratings, he turned to a man he knew would get the WWE Universe watching Bret Hart. Now, suspend your disbelief, as I how I think the return of Bret Hart should have gone.[/ul] Shifty Presents: Return of the Hitman!JANUARY 4th 2010; Dayton, OH - Nutter Center. The name of the arena is incredibly appropriate, as the fans inside the arena are ready to blow the roof off the place in anticipation of the return of Bret Hart. The Superstars matches, as well as a nice surprise of seeing Bryan Danielson in action in a WWE Ring for the first time, have all passed, and now the fans are eagerly awaiting the start of Monday Night RAW. There is a package highlighting Bret's rise and fall in the WWE, before the arena is panned in on, Justin Roberts given a close up as he begins his introduction. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my honour to introduce tonight's guest host for Monday Night Raw. He is a five time WWE Champion, and WWE Hall of Famer. Making his first appearance on RAW in over 12 years, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart! Then, one of the most recognisable opening riff's in WWE history sounds out. The crowd erupts in an explosion of cheers, and at last, the moment twelve years in the making, as Bret Hart steps out onto the stage! Bret stands at the top of the stage, soaking in the crowd's response as pyrotechnics explode behind him, his name in lights once more, the crowd on their feet for Bret. Bret climbs into the ring as the commentators Cole and King say this is a dream moment, something that many thought would never happen! Bret grabs a microphone, saying that he is so glad to be back in front of all the fans that make up the WWE Universe, and that he knows it's been too long since he's felt their love and appreciation. He says that as great as it is to be back, he says the main reason he is back is to clear up a few things, and as guest host, he is calling Shawn Michaels out to the ring right now! Michaels, coming out to his own theme, not DX's, makes his way down to the ring. Michaels grabs a microphone, and stares down Hart, the tension between these two still very much alive. Hart grabs a microphone, and says twelve years gives one a lot of time to think, and he realises that perhaps his ego prevented him from seeing Shawn in a different light, but Shawn buts in, saying Bret needn't apologise, as he is isn't at fault here at all. Shawn says he was a very different person back then, and the back injury he suffered and the subsequent time off gave him time to think about his life, AND to turn it around, and so he wants to apologise to Bret for all that he's done to him. Shawn then extends his hand, and Bret looks round as the crowd cheers, before taking Shawn's hand, and embracing him, as the crowd cheers, and Shawn and Bret share a private word having put their past quarrels behind them. The end of the night, however, would see another ghost of Bret's past make his way down to the ring: Vince McMahon. Boasting that bringing back Bret Hart really has brought good things to Monday Night RAW, the Chairman of the WWE says that he wants to follow Shawn Michaels example, and bury his hatchet with Bret as well, and so Vince called out Bret. Bret made his way down to the ring, saying that he is so glad that Vince has decided to do this, saying that it's really brought closure to his life. Vince smiles and says he agrees completely, and that he SHOULD have done this sooner. Bret then extends his hand to Vince, and says it's done, over, and that he's offering the olive branch now. Vince looks at Bret's hand, and rather than reaching out, clasps Bret in a huge hug, before raising his hand so each side of the arena can see. He then lets go of Bret's hand, and applauds him, but then in a shocking move, drives a huge boot into Bret's groin, low-blowing him and leaving him layed out in the middle of the ring, before walking away, Bret Hart left down in the ring, once again screwed over by Vince McMahon. As the week's of January passed by, a very smug Vince McMahon carried himself about Monday Night RAW with a bigger Chesire Cat like smile than ever before. He said continually that Bret screwed Bret, and made a lot of screwings happen: Screwing John Cena out of a WWE Championship match, MVP a United States Championship match, D-Generation X places in the Royal Rumble (though RAW guest host Dulé Hill later re-instated the duo's places) and most significantly, stopped the Hart Dynasty from challenging for the Unified Tag Team Championships ever! Vince also said that he had got the last word in the saga between himself and Bret, and that the sight of Bret in a pathetic heap in the middle of HIS ring would be the last sight of Bret Hart you would ever see! However, on the night of the Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels grabs Vince by the scruff of his collar, saying that if he wanted to treat someone who he once trusted enough to let him carry the company on his back like that, then how can the locker room trust him, and why shouldn't they walk out right now! Vince stumbles through his reasoning, Michaels saying if HE has moved on, then why can't Vince, saying he should invite him back tomorrow night and treat him right! Under pressure from Michaels, McMahon invites Bret Hart back to RAW tomorrow night! 01/02/10 - The night after the Royal Rumble, Vince McMahon is in the ring at the end of the night's Monday Night RAW. He says as he promised he has invited Bret Hart to tonight's show. He then invites Hart down to the ring, with 'The Hitman' making his way down to the ring, looking quite calm and collected, and with a microphone in hand, says that last month, he came back to the WWE with an open mind, and an open heart. He says he knows Vince isn't going to apologise, because their relationship is past that now! He continues, saying Vince McMahon didn't screw him again last month, oh no, he screwed himself this time! Bret then layed into McMahon with rights and lefts, beating down the chairman of the board with some mean fists full of fury, until the assault was broken up officials, McMahon screaming at them to get Bret the hell out of his building as RAW ends. 08/02/10 - The next week, McMahon says that if Bret Hart thinks that he's gotten the last word, then he's wrong, because he's decided that he will not be inviting Bret back to RAW, or any other WWE TV show ever again! At this, a car appears on the titantron, and Bret Hart stepped out! McMahon calls for security, saying he doesn't want Bret Hart to come down to the ring, hell, even into the arena, but Bret goes to the gorilla position and grabs a microphone, saying he doesn't want any fights this week, because he has an idea, a match at Wrestlemania between himself and Vince McMahon! Vince laughs it off, saying he would NEVER sanction a match between himself and Bret at one of his events, ever again! Bret looks dissapointed, and asks Vince if he's sure he wants to do that, Vince laughing saying yes, and he's sure Bret Hart better leave the arena now if he wants to sleep in his own bed tonight! Bret says he'll leave the arena, and goes back to his car, backing up, but heading BACK into the arena! Bret drives the car into the arena at high speed, sending the security team running out of the way, before getting out of the car, and quickly heading to the ring with a steel pipe in his hand! McMahon climbs out of the ring and cowers behind the announce desk, taking cover behind King, who tells Bret not to do this. McMahon laughs as Bret is held back by King, and escapes, with Bret yelling that he WILL get his match with McMahon! 15/02/10 - The following week, McMahon made his way out again, but this time, he brought protection with him in the form of Vladimir Kozlov. He says that he is putting a hit out on Bret Hart, and that he will pay $10,000 to any Superstar, or even Diva that can take out Bret Hart! Bret Hart then appears on the Titantron, saying that he doesn't need to worry about a 'hit' that's out on him, because he has his own back-up, before The Hart Dynasty walks on screen to a big pop, with Bret saying he has his own personal protection service with him, and that the only 'hit' on his mind, is the several hits that McMahon's face will will feel when they get their match at Wrestlemania! 22/02/10 - The night after the Elimination Chamber PPV, Bret Hart makes his way out with the Hart Dynasty, saying that if anyone wants to try and cash in on that hit, they may as well do it now, rather than being a coward and hitting him from behind. A few superstars come out, but turn back, not seeing it worth it to try and take on the odds. Then, Vince McMahon makes his way out, and says that if Bret thinks that he's gotten off the hit by having his family around him, then he should think again! Bret then leans on the ropes, shouting at Vince that nobody dares touch him, but then Natalya LOW BLOWED Bret, followed by David Hart Smith lifting up Bret, and Tyson Kidd charging at the ropes, the two nailing Bret with the Hart Attack! Bret was layed out in the ring, the Hart Dynasty climbing out of the ring, taking the briefcase of money from Vince, who was smiling to close this edition of RAW. 01/03/10 - Hart missed a week of RAW due to the attack suffered at the hands of the Hart Dynasty, but during this week McMahon bragged, saying he had Bret get double crossed by his own family, saying even his own family wanted to screw him. He says if Bret is in a fit enough state to compete at Wrestlemania, he CAN have the match he wants, and it can be a no disqualification match! Later in the week on SmackDown!, The Hart Dynasty explain that they did what they did for Bret's own good, saying McMahon would beat him a lot worse than this, reminding him he'd suffered a stroke and has post-concussion syndrome, and the match could potentially kill him! 08/03/10 - Bret Hart appeared on RAW via satellite, and said he was feeling very rough, but next week's guest host Steve Austin had invited him to RAW next week for an official contract signing for their match at Wrestlemania! McMahon was seen backstage with his personal muscle Kozlov, who was instructed to 'be on hand' for the contract signing, in case 'Bret tries anything'. 15/03/10 - The penultimate edition of Monday Night RAW, and the contract signing for the match the WWE Universe thought it would never see, Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon. Steve Austin was on hand to over-see the contract signing, and said he didn't want Kozlov there. McMahon said that he wants Kozlov there, and his decision was final, but Austin crushed his beer and told McMahon that unless he wants a beating now like Bret Hart is going to give him in two weeks, he better tell 'Ivan Drago' to take his ass backstage! Kozlov gets anry, but McMahon tells him to calm down, Kozlov not listening and recieving a Stunner and being thrown out of the ring. McMahon threw verbal barbs at Hart over the contract signing, with McMahon saying that Bret's in no shape to compete like the Hart Dynasty said. Bret said nothing, and signed the contract, much to the pleasure of McMahon who happily signed also. Bret then said that the attack he recieved from the Hart Dynasty was planned to prevent himself being beaten worse than he was, to the shock of McMahon who thought he'd pulled off the ultimate double cross, and that McMahon had really screwed himself out of $10,000! Bret then reached under the desk, and pulled out a kendo stick, beating down McMahon, adding insult to injury as Austin laughed, Bret and Austin then sharing a beer once Hart was done. 22/03/10 - McMahon said he was getting a small measure of revenge, by saying he would fire The Hart Dynasty should Bret lose on Sunday, and rid the WWE of the Hart Family forever! Bret then came out to the stage, saying if he thinks that a threat that won't ever be achieved phases him, he's wrong, because McMahon while won't be pinned on Sunday, he'll be losing the match alright, because he'll scrambling for the ropes, and feeling his back snap while locked in the SHARPSHOOTER! The crowd pops as they now know what Bret's intentions are on Sunday, and the final words have been exchanged, with only the match twelve years in the making to come now!
| Bret 'The Hitman' Hart vs. Vince McMahon | Both men are dressed in street clothes, just ready for an all out brawl, and with no Kozlov and no Hart Dynasty at ringside, it's a one on one fight! Bret dives at McMahon, laying into him with fist after fist after fist, not letting up as McMahon desperately attempts to cover up, but it's in vain. The 'Hitman' then steps out of the ring, and grabs a chair, opening it over the back of McMahon, and sitting on it, before slapping McMahon around his head, and reaching into the ring apron, and grabbing a kendo stick. Hart then stands up, and throws the chair away, before lashing McMahon with the kendo stick, the Chairman of the WWE desperately trying to get away! He swings a wild foot at Bret and low blows him, before scrambling to the outside and grabbing the stairs, and throwing them in the ring. He then lines Bret up for a shot with the stairs but Bret drop toe holds him sending him face first onto the stairs! He then removes his own belt, places the stairs over the backside of McMahon so he can't escape and lashes several times in a measure way, before breaking off into quick brutal ones. He then lifts up the steps and drops them on the lower back of McMahon, and then the knees, before dropping all his weight in a leg drop on McMahon's knees. McMahon tries to get to his feet, but Bret boots him down like a dog, and grabs his legs, before locking in the Sharpshooter! McMahon struggles just as Bret predicted he would, the crowd eating up the pain McMahon was in, McMahon being forced to tap, but Bret only breaks the hold after McMahon has tapped twelve times; with some painful symbolism, Hart gets his revenge at last! | Winner: Bret 'The Hitman' Hart |
Bret celebrates his victory, the 'Hitman' finally having closed this chapter of his life, as he pumps his rock-fist in the air on the turnbuckle, pyrotechnics going off above the ring, and as he celebrates one of the most emotional wins of his life, his family joins him, the Hart Family hugging each other and Bret for exacting revenge on McMahon. [/font] Rated R MONDAY NIGHT RAW; JANUARY 4TH, 2010GUEST HOST BRET HART AND SHAWN MICHAELS RECONCILEDThe conclusion to the 1997 Survivor Series remains one of the most controversial of all time. Bret Hart, then the WWF Champion, was forced to relinquish the title to the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels in the infamous Montreal screw job. With the Sharpshooter locked in on Hart the referee called for the bell despite the fact that Hart had never submitted. Unsurprisingly the event left a bitter taste in Hart’s mouth and he left the WWE with many thinking they would never see him inside a WWE ring again. Those people were wrong. When it was announced that Bret Hart would be the guest host for Monday Night RAW many people thought it was a bad joke, but when The Hitman made his entrance and headed to the ring the arena practically exploded. In an emotional speech not only did the WWE Hall of Famer thank the entire WWE Universe for their support but he also called out Shawn Michaels to bury the hatchet. Michaels obliged, heading to the ring. In one of the tensest moments in sports entertainment history the two legends of the ring talked it out, shook hands and shared a heart warming embrace. Bret Hart ended the moment by announcing that later tonight he would also call out Mr. McMahon. MR. MCMAHON SCREWED BRET HART... AGAINHaving come to Monday Night RAW looking for closure many thought it was on hand, but just like that Mr. McMahon turned the entire WWE Universe on its head once again and proved exactly why he is the most unpredictable man in the WWE. When Bret Hart invited Mr. McMahon to the ring many doubted the chairman would even show up. Yet he did and with a giant smile and his signature strut Mr. McMahon entered the ring and for the first time in thirteen years stood toe to toe with the man he screwed over all those years ago. Despite a tense opening the two seemed willing to put the past behind him, McMahon even announcing the induction of Stu Hart into the hall of fame as part of the class of 2011. After the two finally shook hands and raised each other’s arms in a sign of long sought after solidarity Mr. McMahon reverted to form, kicking Hart right in the groin and leaving him lying in the centre of the ring. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; JANUARY 12th 2010THE HART DYNASTY CONFRONT MR. MCMAHONOne week after Mr. McMahon screwed Bret Hart over yet again he intended to gloat about it. Making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos Mr. McMahon had never seemed happier. His first order of business was to ban Bret Hart from ever appearing at a WWE event again, before going on to brag about how he had humiliated The Hitman before admitting that he had indeed screwed Bret Hart over in 1997, and that he had done the same thing here in 2011. But there was one tag team who weren’t going to sit backstage and listen to McMahon’s boasting. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd & Natalya), whose legacy as a team dates back to Bret Hart, made their way to the ring and demanded that McMahon lift the ban on Bret Hart and personally apologise to the WWE legend. Mr. McMahon was livid but amazed that The Hart Dynasty would talk up when their own careers could suffer as a result. McMahon announced that while he wouldn’t lift the ban he would put The Hart Dynasty in a number one contenders match... against The Miz and the Big Show! THE HART DYNASTY DEFEATED WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION THE MIZ & BIG SHOWNobody expected The Hart Dynasty to walk away victorious. By Mr. McMahon’s orders they clashed with United States Champion The Miz and the gigantic Big Show, with the winners challenging for the Unified Tag Team Championships next week on RAW. In a match that many thought was a foregone conclusion The Hart Dynasty shocked everyone by not only taking the fight to their opponents, but defeating them – Tyson Kidd making Miz submit to the Sharpshooter while David Hart Smith (and a helping hand from Natalya) held the Big Show on the outside. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; JANUARY 19th 2010WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH THE HART DYNASTY DEFEATED WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS DEGENERATION XWith the ban on Bret Hart still in place The Hart Dynasty came into this match not only looking to topple the Unified Tag Team Champions but also to prove that they’re going to remain a thorn in Mr. McMahon’s. Meanwhile with both men focusing on the Royal Rumble win there were underlying tensions between the Degeneration X teammates tonight and that is exactly what cost them. When Triple H accidentally knocked Shawn Michaels off the ring apron an argument broke out between them, allowing The Hart Dynasty to capitalise by taking both men out individually. One Hart Attack on Triple H later and we were looking at new Unified Tag Team Champions. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; JANUARY 26th 2010THE HART DYNASTY RISK TAG TITLES FOR BRET HARTNew Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty certainly proved they don’t have any problems crossing the boss as they interrupted him for a second time on Monday Night RAW. With McMcMahon all set to make a speech dedicated to the career of Bret Hart David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natalya spoke up. Furious at the interruption McMahon threatened to fire the trio but the Tag Team Champions refused to back down, which is when Mr. McMahon had an idea. McMahon offered The Hart Dynasty one chance – defend the tag team titles against The Miz and Big Show tonight and if they win, Bret Hart can return to RAW next week. Tyson Kidd was sceptical, not wanting to risk the gold they recently won but David Hart Smith refused to walk away, accepting the match. WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE HART DYNASTY DEFEATED WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION THE MIZ & BIG SHOW; BRET HART CAN RETURN TO RAWIn an all or nothing match for The Hart Dynasty the new Unified Tag Team Champions stepped into the ring against a team they bested two weeks ago. This time it was a very different story as The Miz and Big Show came into this focused on taking the gold and halting any plans for Bret Hart to return to Monday Night RAW. In a competitive match that could have gone either way it was the teamwork of The Hart Dynasty that really made the difference as they neutralised Big Show on the outside before putting The Miz away with the Hart Attack. As a result, next week on RAW, Bret Hart will return to Monday Night RAW! MONDAY NIGHT RAW; FEBRUARY 2nd 2010BRET HART CONFRONTED MR. MCMAHONAfter The Hart Dynasty got Bret Hart’s ban lifted it was a guarantee that the excellence of execution would call out the man who placed the ban in the first place – Mr. McMahon. Making his way to the ring flanked by The Hart Dynasty Bret Hart got a thunderous ovation, but wasn’t in a partying mood. Hart immediately called out Mr. McMahon and after several attempts the boss did indeed enter out onto the stage. When McMahon refused to come to the ring Bret Hart challenged him to a match at WrestleMania 26. When McMahon refused that also Bret promised that he would get his hands on McMahon one way or another. But not tonight. While Bret continued to berate Mr. McMahon nobody saw the animal Batista slide into the ring. The ferocious superstar tore through Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith before grabbing Bret Hart, before being called off by Mr. McMahon. While Hart was given a reprise tonight his namesake won’t be so lucky next week because, as ordered by Mr. McMahon himself, next week The Hart Dynasty will face Batista and... himself in a tag team match! MONDAY NIGHT RAW; FEBRUARY 9th 2010MR. MCMAHON & BATISTA DEFEATED WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE HART DYNASTYIn a shocking match announced by the chairman of the board last week the Unified Tag Team Champions faced off against Batista and... Mr. McMahon himself. Trying to prove a point to Bret Hart, the world and possibly himself McMahon stepped in the ring and... didn’t fare too well. Despite that Batista more than made up for it, running through the The Hart Dynasty in the same way that has made him such a massive threat over on SmackDown. In the end a vicious spinebuster/ Batista Bomb combo put The Hart Dynasty down for the count. But things weren’t over just yet. Following the match Natalya entered the ring to check on her fallen teammates only to be grabbed by Batista. Things looked grim for a moment before WWE Champion John Cena, who has had a number of run ins with Batista in recent weeks, sprinted to the ring to make the save. While Cena and Batista brawled around the ring Bret Hart made a surprise appearance and as Mr. McMahon turned around he was met full force by a kick down low, Bret Hart standing tall over his nemesis having got the last laugh this week on RAW. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; FEBRUARY 16th 2010BRET HART CHALLENGED MR. MCMAHON; THE HART DYNASTY vs. THE MIZ & BIG SHOW BOOKED; BRET HART ATTACKEDHaving got a small taste of revenge last week Bret Hart made it clear that he wasn’t done by a long shot. Marching to the ring with The Hart Dynasty by his side Bret Hart once again issued a challenge to Mr. McMahon to meet him at WrestleMania. Entering onto the stage Mr. McMahon once again refused the challenge, before announcing a match of his own – this Sunday, live on Extreme Rules, The Hart Dynasty will defend their Unified Tag Team Championship against The Miz and Big Show! As the Big Show was making his way to ringside The Miz suddenly slid into the ring behind The Hart Dynasty and proceeded to nail both David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd with the United States Championship. Left on his own in the ring Bret Hart tried to fight but soon found himself the victim of a Skull Crushing Finale, followed by the Chokeslam! ELIMINATION CHAMBER; FEBRUARY 20th 2010WWE UNIFED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION THE MIZ & BIG SHOW DEFEATED WWE UNIFED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE HART DYNASTYWhen you get yourself involved in Mr. McMahon’s business you should be ready for the consequences as The Hart Dynasty found out all too well at the Elimination Chamber pay per view. Having tasted victory twice over their opponents before The Hart Dynasty went into this match confident and looking to retain their titles. But when you cross the boss, not everything goes according to plan. In the middle of the match Batista’s music began to play. While there was no sign of the Animal the distraction was enough for The Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on David Hart Smith to gain the pinfall and the victory. Following the match Mr. McMahon appeared on the stage, making it very clear who caused the distraction in the first place. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; FEBRUARY 23rd 2010WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE MIZ & BIG SHOW DEFEATED THE HART DYNASTYKicking off Monday Night RAW with a rematch from last night’s Elimination Chamber pay per view The Hart Dynasty looked to regain the titles they had unfairly lost just one day earlier. In another close match up between the two teams it was a case of mis-communication between the challenges that did them in. When David Hart Smith blind tagged himself in Tyson Kidd was furious, and made it known too. While the tension lasted mere seconds that was all it took for The Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on David Hart Smith and take the victory. MR. MCMAHON SPEAKS WITH TYSON KIDDWith Bret Hart still out of action following the attack last week things seem to be falling apart amongst The Hart Dynasty. Following their loss earlier tonight Tyson Kidd left the locker room alone, only to find himself bumping into Mr. McMahon. Despite the tension between the two McMahon questioned Kidd’s resolve to his teammate, citing that it was David Hart Smith’s fault that they lost earlier tonight. While Kidd told McMahon to back off it was obvious that the manipulative McMahon had gotten to the young superstar. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; MARCH 2nd 2010TED DIBIASE & CODY RHODES DEFEATED THE HART DYNASTYHaving failed to win back the Unified Tag Team Championships last week The Hart Dynasty needed a victory here to halt their falling momentum. Coming into this match apparently on the same page the former tag team champions worked well against DiBiase and Rhodes, who have found themselves embroiled in a heated feud with their former mentor Randy Orton in recent weeks. Despite their focus it was miscommunication by The Hart Dynasty that once again did them in as DiBiase sent David Hart Smith flying into his partner before rolling him up for the victory. Following the bout Tyson Kidd had a few choice words for his partner and the pair nearly came to blows before Natalya broke it up. MR. MCMAHON TO CALL OUT BRET HART NEXT WEEKDuring the show it was announced that WWE legend Bret Hart would return to RAW next week, having been absent since being attacked by Big Show and The Miz several weeks ago. Mr. McMahon used this opportunity and announced that next week on Monday Night RAW Mr. McMahon will call out Bret Hart and propose a way to end their hostilities once and for all. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; MARCH 9th 2010BRET HART PUTS THE HART DYNASTY BACK ON THE SAME PAGESince losing the Unified Tag Team Championship at Elimination Chamber three weeks ago The Hart Dynasty seem to be imploding, with Tyson Kidd constantly blaming David Hart Smith for their failures. Just when it looked like another argument was going to break out between the pair in the locker room WWE legend Bret Hart intervened, telling the pair that they are a team and that means having the other’s back even when things don’t go so well. Kidd and Hart seemed to mend fences and agreed that they will have Bret Hart’s back here tonight. MR. MCMAHON CHALLENGES BRET HART; TYSON KIDD TURNS ON THE HART’SAfter over a decade of animosity between Mr. McMahon and Bret Hart things finally look to be coming to a head in the run up to the biggest sports entertainment event of the year – WrestleMania. Mr. McMahon called out Bret Hart, promising that as long as no physical contact was initiated by Hart then none would be by him. Bret Hart complied, although he did it alongside the entire Hart Dynasty. Mr. McMahon explained that he is sick of the constant back and forth between the pair and that it is time to settle things, suggesting they do it at the grandest stage possible – WrestleMania 26. Bret quickly agreed but McMahon told him that he shouldn’t get ahead of himself, because they won’t be facing off one on one. Suddenly David Hart Smith was floored by a low blow courtesy of none other than his own tag team partner Tyson Kidd. In the commotion McMahon delivered the same treatment to Bret Hart before Tyson Kidd locked in the Sharpshooter on his former tag team partner despite Natalya’s pleas otherwise. The entire arena seemed speechless as Tyson Kidd left alongside Mr. McMahon, having betrayed his family. MONDAY NIGHT RAW; MARCH 15th 2010TYSON KIDD EXPLAINS ACTIONS; DAVID HART SMITH ATTACKSLast week on Monday Night RAW the entire WWE Universe was stunned as Tyson Kidd turned his back on The Hart Dynasty and allied himself with Mr. McMahon. Tyson Kidd himself came to the ring to explain his actions. Kidd argued that when he first joined the WWE he was cited as a future headliner, a future world champion, a future legend. But that none of that would be possible with David Hart Smith dragging him down. Kidd argued that he wanted no part in Bret Hart’s fiasco with Mr. McMahon, saying that understands that you don’t cross the boss if you want to succeed. Before he could continue however David Hart Smith charged the ring, tacking Tyson Kidd to the ground and unloading with punches before Kidd managed to escape. Later in the show it was made official – at WrestleMania 26 Bret Hart and David Hart Smith will clash with Mr. McMahon and Tyson Kidd. And next week on RAW ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will oversee the contract signing! MONDAY NIGHT RAW; MARCH 22nd 2010‘STONE COLD’ STEVE AUSTIN PRESIDES OVER CONTRACT SIGNINGWith the Texas Rattlesnake in charge you knew this wasn’t going to be a good night for Mr. McMahon. As the contract signing between the four men got underway guest host ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin it perfectly clear that if anyone got physical he would open up a can of whoop ass regardless of who it was. Despite the obvious hatred between the two teams all four men signed and made the match official. However McMahon noticed an extra signature space which Austin himself quickly signed, announcing that he would be the special referee for the match! Mr. McMahon, furious at Austin’s meddling, got into it with the Texas Rattlesnake. McMahon, clearly out of his mind, pushed Austin and Austin quickly retaliated with a huge Stunner while David Hart Smith levelled Tyson Kidd with a huge boot to the face. On the final stop on the road to WrestleMania 26, The Hart’s got the upper hand. WRESTLEMANIA 26; MARCH 28th 2010BRET HART & DAVID HART SMITH DEFEATED MR. MCMAHON & TYSON KIDD SPECIAL REFEREE: ‘STONE COLD’ STEVE AUSTINIf you want a more storied rivalry than that between Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart and Mr. McMahon then you’ll need to look hard. A match thirteen years in the making which has only become more heated with the involvement of former Hart Dynasty teammates, and former Unified Tag Team Champions, David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd. With ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin watching over things as the special guest referee there was no chance that anybody was getting away with anything. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd handled the earlier portion of the match, exchanging some excellent offence. Bret Hart would get tagged in and he demanded that McMahon enter as well, but Mr. McMahon refused the tag and an already fatigued Tyson Kidd felt the wrath before coming back, showing why his youth was a big advantage for him in this match. Tyson Kidd continued beating down on his former teacher and when it looked all over for the Excellence of Execution Mr. McMahon decided he would get involved. McMahon began taunting Bret, slapping him over the head and pulling him to his feet before he got in some offence of his own, including a patronising Stunner right in front of Austin. That’s when McMahon went for the ultimate insult and locked in the Sharpshooter in the centre of the ring, only this time there wasn’t a paid off official to ring the bell. Bret reversed the move and sent McMahon flying into his old enemy ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin who retaliated with a right hand. McMahon stumbled backwards where he was met by another right hand, this time from Bret. McMahon went back and forth as Bret and Austin unloaded with punches on the chairman of the board. Tyson Kidd tried to make the save but he was tackled out of the ring by David Hart Smith as Steve Austin delivered a big ‘Stone Cold’ Stunner to his nemesis. Bret Hart followed up with the Sharpshooter and while McMahon tapped straight away Austin waited before eventually calling for the bell. It was the moment that every fan was hoping for as ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin raised the hands of Bret Hart and David Hart Smith in the centre of the ring. Austin called for his signature beers and the three shared a cold one in the ring while McMahon slowly got to his feet where Austin was waiting with another ‘Stone Cold’ Stunner. Bret added insult to injury, tipping beer over the chairman before dropping his can onto him, having finally gained the retribution he has been looking for for thirteen years.

MAIN EVENT; Singles Bout; SWA No Preset Championship Match Red Dragon (c) vs. The Penguin Stipulation: Re-book the end of Goldberg's ultimate win streak in WCW
Red Dragon retains the SWA No Preset Championship via count out over Penguin! Red Dragon will receive one point for handing in and 3 points for the win, as well as however many votes there are!
Red Dragon IntroductionIn September 1997, it all started. The destructive nature known as Goldberg made his first impression on the wrestling world, running through his first competitor with ease. Then he moved onto his second, third and fourth, all easily winning his matches. It was clear that this was the start of something big. Goldberg started not only just competing on Monday Night Nitro but on PPV’s where he would continue his run of squash matches. WCW then started to acknowledge Goldberg’s streak and followed his progress as the number of victims continued to rise. Goldberg’s next stop was the United States Heavyweight Championship held by Raven. After destroying Raven’s lackeys (known as the Flock) Goldberg moved onto the champion himself, defeating him and in turn, winning his first championship in WCW. The streak continued and as it did more wrestlers wanted to step up to the challenge. The prize had now grown not just the title of the “man who beat the streak” but also the United States Heavyweight Championship. Goldberg continued to run riot throughout WCW so much so that the attracted the attention of the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Hollywood Hulk Hogan. After earning a title shot by beating Hogan’s stable mate Scott Hall, Goldberg went onto face the Hulkster for the title. Later that same night, Goldberg extended his streak to 108 matches unbeaten and defeated Hogan to become WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Goldberg was the biggest name in wrestling. Everyone was talking about the streak and tuned in week-in-week-out to see what happened next, could anyone stop Goldberg? 5 months later Goldberg’s reign came to an abrupt stop. Starrcade 1998, Kevin Nash defeated Goldberg to not only win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship but also defeat the undefeated. The finish of the match came after Scott Hall made a run-in to taser Goldberg in what was deemed a lackluster end to such a hot angle. Goldberg’s streak ended at 173 victories but the worst was yet to come. WCW failed to capitalize on Goldberg’s streak, it was an all time great angle which had fans tuning in just to see. But WCW had messed it all up with a lame run in. The following month the infamous “Fingerpoke of Doom” took place which was called the start of the fall of WCW. This angle along with Schiavone comment, “that's gonna put some butts in the seats,” which was also in the broadcast started the fall of the once great WCW. After all the hype, after all the build-up the streak had finished not with a bang but with a whimper. But what if it never happened? What if Goldberg’s streak wasn’t ended by Nash at Starrcade 1998? What if Goldberg had continued his streak? Who would have eventually defeated him? What would WCW be like? All will be revealed. The Reign of TerrorBack to July 1998, Goldberg had just captured the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and continued his streak by defeating Hollywood Hulk Hogan for the title. Goldberg’s first title defense was 6 days later at Bash at the Beach, where Goldberg successfully defended the title against Curt Hennig. Goldberg’s next challenge came once again from within nWo Hollywood as he faced Scott Hall but Hall once again fell to the undefeated champion. Hogan was tied up with business from Diamond Dallas Page and told the members of nWo Hollywood to “deal” with Goldberg, since he was making a mockery of their group. nWo Hollywood had one deadly weapon to deploy, the 7ft monster, The Giant. The Giant looked like the perfect solution to nWo Hollywood’s problem. He could match Goldberg’s raw strength and aggression and towered over the champion any time they met. And almost every time they met the Giant left Goldberg on his back after a vicious attack. All these events led to a bout at Halloween Havoc for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. In the main event of the night Goldberg lifted the 7 footer over his head and dropped him down in a Jackhammer to retain the belt and stun all watching. Goldberg looked truly unstoppable, no-one could stop him. At World War 3, Hollywood Hogan won the three ring, 60 man battle royal to earn a title bout against Goldberg at the next PPV, Starrcade. The stage was set for one of the biggest re-matches in WCW history. The undefeated WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg faced the biggest name in pro wrestling history, Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Hogan claimed that he beat 59 other men at World War 3 so it would be simple to defeat Goldberg. Goldberg spat back that he had defeated 173 men in a row, “so it’s not going to be that simple.” Despite interference from nWo Hollywood, Goldberg retained the belt following a Spear. Goldberg had become one of the all time greats. He had risen from jobber killer to the main event. From in-ring legends such as Ric Flair and Sting, to established main event stars such as Scott Steiner and Diamond Dallas Page even to rising stars who had been given a chance to shine like Booker T and the man Goldberg had beaten to win his first title in WCW, Raven. All had been defeated over the next year. The question was no longer “Who’s Next” but “Who’s Left?” The Rising StarOne month before Goldberg captured the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Chris Benoit had been defeated by rival Booker T in the final match of their Best of 7 series of matches to end their feud. Although the match was for a shot at the WCW World Television Champion, Benoit was about to begin his slow rise above mid-card status. Benoit began to rack up some victories himself, although no comparison to Goldberg’s, Benoit begun to go from win to win. With every win Benoit seemed to be getting closer and closer to the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. This was until he met Sting. Sting was to cause Benoit’s downfall using both cheating and the numbers advantage he had inside nWo Wolfpac. At the 1998 Halloween Havoc event headlined by Goldberg defending the title against The Giant, Benoit was set to meet Sting one-on-one for the second time. The first meeting was a bout on Monday Night Nitro which led to a DQ win for Benoit. The following week Benoit wanted a rematch and got it on PPV. Before Sting and Benoit could meet one-on-one they met in a huge six-man tag in the main event of Nitro. At Halloween Havoc, Benoit put up a good fight in the bout which was deemed as a tester for a main event run for Benoit. Benoit picked up the surprise win after catching Sting off guard and pinning Sting with a small package to win. Benoit was then seen as a thorn in the side of nWo Wolfpac, who decided they had to do something about the rising star. While nWo Wolfpac was plotting Benoit’s fall from grace, the Canadian Crippler was focused on WCW’s World War 3 event. There was a three ring, 60 man battle royal where the winner would face the World Heavyweight Champion at Starrcade, Benoit wanted this title shot and went straight at it. At World War 3 nWo Wolfpac’s plan came to fruition. The final four men were Kevin Nash, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Chris Benoit and Bret Hart. Hart had joined the company in late 1997 following the Montrel Screwjob in the WWF. Earlier in the year Hart had turned heel and partly joined nWo Hollywood. However he made a shock turn by turning his back on nWo Hollywood and shaking Kevin Nash’s hand, forming a new alliance with nWo Wolfpac. In the final four, Hart took Benoit out and in the process took himself out to the floor also, eliminating both men. Although being eliminated Hart seemed happy at his outcome in the match. He revealed the following night on Nitro that he was asked by nWo Wolfpac to take out Benoit. However, Benoit wasn’t too happy about being eliminated from the battle royal and went right after Hart. Although Hart was able to avoid Benoit they came face to face at Starrcade. Hart got the win following a Sharpshooter but there was controversy as Benoit had his arm on the rope. The rematch was lined up for SuperBrawl where Benoit would go onto defeat Hart fairly. But despite this Hart complained and the third and final match was set. nWo Wolfpac was upset with Hart losing and told him if he lost again he would lose his alliance with the group. Hart and Benoit met in their final match at The Great American Bash. A special stipulation was added to add more interest to the bout, the match was now 2/3 falls. In the end the score was settled at 1 apiece. They went to a sudden death where Benoit prevailed. Following Benoit’s huge wins over Bret Hart he went onto face the big leader of nWo Wolfpac, Kevin Nash. Whom he defeated at Bash at the Beach. In the months leading up to Starrcade it was clear that Benoit was a clear challenger to both Goldberg’s title and his streak. The WCW roster looked to Benoit as the man who could defeat the undefeated Goldberg. Everybody else had tried and failed but Benoit was more than ready to take on the challenge. Goldberg vs. BenoitThe stage was set, the undefeated WCW World Heavyweight Champion with a 16 month reign was about the meet possibly his toughest challenge. It was only one year ago, Goldberg had faced and defeated Hollywood Hulk Hogan. But in Benoit, Goldberg was facing an entirely different challenger; an intense, passionate and tough challenger. Benoit emerged as Goldberg’s challenger to the belt after winning a tournament final at WCW’s Mayhem PPV. The night after on Nitro Benoit spoke, “Ever since you got that belt, I wanted to be the man to take it from you. I’ve done my time, I’ve faced the best. Now it’s time for you to step up to the challenge”. Goldberg accepted and the match was set for Starrcade 1999 in Toronto, Ontario. Both Benoit and Goldberg had made their entrances and were standing face-to-face in a sold out arena. Although Goldberg did have a loud response from the crowd, the Canadian Benoit got an even louder reaction. The bout started right away with Goldberg getting the full advantage with his raw power. Benoit was able to counter Goldberg’s strength with submissions. This kept Goldberg grounded and put a stop to Goldberg’s early dominance. After a flurry of submissions Benoit kept the Indian Death Lock locked in. Goldberg then pulled himself and the 220lbs Benoit who he had on his back. Goldberg fought back and stopped any attempts of submission holds from Benoit. The match slowly turned into a brawl after Goldberg tried a different tactic, strikes. Not wanting to be out-done, Benoit fired back with his own strikes including his chest burning chops. They battled back and forth before both men went for a headbut the third time which knocked both men down. As they rose the fans were eagerly awaiting the match to continue. Benoit charged at Goldberg who ducked and threw him over the top rope and down the floor. Goldberg exited hoping to do damage to Benoit on the outside. However a quick Drop-Toe Hold into the guardrail gave Benoit the advantage. Benoit re-entered and went high risk by diving over the top rope onto Goldberg. The action continued back in the ring where Benoit took full control. A quick reversal turned into a Jackhammer and the match looked over but Benoit kicked out! Goldberg frustrated tried for another only for Benoit to float over and hit a release German Suplex. Goldberg folded back onto his neck before picking himself up in the corner. Benoit was already charging with a high forearm and struck Goldberg in the temple. A short Belly-to Belly Suplex dumped Goldberg down onto the match for a near fall. Goldberg took back the control with some power moves, most impressively a military press which Goldberg held for too long allowing Benoit to counter and land on the top rope. Benoit then dived but was caught! Goldberg then hit a Spinebuster but the pin was just one second off a win. Goldberg recoiled to the corner, eying Benoit up for the Spear. Goldberg charged but was caught off guard as Benoit stepped to his side and grabbed Goldberg’s arm. Benoit wrestled Goldberg down to the floor and trapped Goldberg’s arm between his legs and applied the Crossface. Benoit pulled back and pulled back but Goldberg was not going to submit. Goldberg’s neck was almost at full tilt as Benoit applied even more pressure. The referee was asking if Goldberg would submit but he wouldn’t give in with both his title and streak on the line. The hold stayed for minutes as a sold out arena watched closely to see if Goldberg would tap out. Eventually Goldberg eyes closes and the referee looked down worryingly. After a few more seconds the referee decided to call the bell on the account that Goldberg was knocked out. Benoit wouldn’t release the hold until he was certain the match was over. The crowd went wild as Benoit was announced the winner and the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Benoit had defeated the streak by making Goldberg pass out from the pain. The picture became iconic as the PPV went off air, Benoit was on the top rope with the title as below him Goldberg was being taken out on a stretcher. AftermathAs you would expect Goldberg wasn’t too happy about the loss and demanded a rematch. After kicking his frustrations out on multiple jobbers, the rematch was set. The first Nitro of the new millennium was to be headlined by Goldberg facing Benoit once more. So confident was Goldberg that he could win the match he asked for the match to be made a Submissions match, a match that would favour Benoit. The stipulation was approved and the two went into 2000 as the big money match which all wrestling fans were watching. The match itself retained much the same pattern due to the one dimension skills of Goldberg. The spot of the night involved Benoit attempting a dive over the top rope, alike to which he did in their first match, only for Goldberg to catch him and drive him down over the apron. Goldberg’s own cockiness came back to haunt him as the stipulation backfired. Despite the many submissions Goldberg had learnt especially for the match he couldn’t pull them off too well due to the submission master, Benoit ability to counter almost any submission. The match ended as Benoit locked in the Crossface once more. The hold was held in once again for a long time and Goldberg was determined not to pass out. However, eventually Goldberg tapped out giving Benoit the win. Following his second loss Goldberg claimed the match was unfair due to the stipulation, despite asking for it himself. He petitioned one final match with his own stipulation, No Disqualification. The match was approved but Goldberg couldn’t compete due to an arm injury he sustained from the Crossface. However, the injury seemed to be a plot as Goldberg attacked Benoit following a title defence and ripped off his sling. Goldberg sent a clear message to Benoit, he wanted his title back. The third (and final) match was set for SuperBrawl, Champion Benoit versus challenger Goldberg - No Disqualification for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The third match in the Benoit/Goldberg trilogy took elements from the previous bouts and mixed them in a weapons environment. The spot which has starred through all three took place once more with Benoit diving over the top rope onto Goldberg on the outside. Goldberg caught Benoit once again and went to powerbomb him onto the concrete (after the padding had been removed) however Benoit countered uncharacteristically with a hurricanrana sending Goldberg smashing down onto the concrete floor. The match continued with Goldberg getting the advantage despite being busted open from a wild chair shot earlier on the match. There were plenty of near falls including a Jackhammer from Goldberg, a missed Spear from Goldberg sending himself through a table and a Benoit Wild Bomb onto a ladder. The match ended up taking a lot of energy out of both men as they battled towards the conclusion. Benoit had worked over Goldberg arm throughout but he doubled the damage in the closing parts to the match as he trapped Goldberg’s arm in a chair and repeatedly stomped on it, even smashing it with another chair. The allowed Benoit to lock in the Crossface and Goldberg easily submitted. Benoit had done the unthinkable. He had beaten the undefeatable three times. Although Goldberg was smart and had his game plan all planned out for each bout Benoit was just ready for everything Goldberg threw at him. Goldberg’s smugness, cockiness and fake injury had all come back to haunt him and cost him both his belt and his streak. Benoit would go onto have a long title reign taking on all challengers before dropping the title to close friend Chris Jericho in a heated feud. Benoit’s reign was forever seen as the beginning of a new era. An era which ushered new stars into the main event, rewarding in ring talent and motivation. Because of this WCW stayed afloat and continued to do good business against their arch rivals for many years to come. Goldberg, took a year off to recover from injuries (in reality Goldberg was filming his first major film) after which Goldberg returned and started from scratch. One win at a time, a new streak was born.

Guess I'll be the first/only reply then. Sorry in advance for shorter replies.
The Rook: Quite a hard stip to do something brilliant. All looked decent and well layed out. What is Zack Ryder doing being the last but one draft pick? Overall, a good entry but lacked that amazing booking quality. Good entry.
Cenanation: Liking Del Rio/Taker story. looked like he "pooped" himself. lol. Your booking and layout are all top notch but I do feel your writing could improve a bit, not much but it will come in time. "look the soup bones to Del Rio" What?, SS match write up could have been a bit longer.
Progwd: I love how you didn't just book Taker's storyline and had the whole Del Rio build upto the bout, little bit confusing in parts esp at the start saying Survivor Series 2012 but the date says Nov 2011. Your layout is nice, could do with a graphic or two. Some questionable booking like Show winning the title from the MitB and the way Taker retired.
Winner: Progwd. Both entries were good and it was hard to choose between them but like I said above Progwd didn't just book Taker's next feud but the entire build up to Del Rio before the bout.
Cameron Stone: Love this entry. So well writ and the simple-ness in the layout reflects that. Although I would have put a few graphics in there to break up the writing but you showed you didn't really need it. Only thing this was lacking in was length which would have really hindered you if you were up against someone.
Duaner: Love the inclusion of the opening paragraph since I didn't know too much about this storyline so it helped set this in context. Wow awesome story can't fault it. Perfectly writ and kept simple through the PPV highlights. The storyline itself was perfect for the time with Austin and the Hart family getting involved in Hart/HBK. Strange booking at the end Shawn legit punching Vince? the high WCW rating? then the whole WWF goes under. But they are minor points in this great booking write up.
Shifty: Great great great graphics. Love the way you write, the phase "his name in lights once more" was so fitting. The story lacked until the turn of the Hart Dynasty. It was too alike to the real life and you could have booked it better. You said to "suspend your disbelief" yet it was too realistic because it was to alike to the real thing. The story picked up the end and was good but the match was too short in my opinion even though neither Vince or Bret can wrestle.
Rated R: Great entry, I think you booked as well as you could under the circumstances of the stip. Maybe the split of the Hart Dynasty was a little quick after winning and losing the titles but for the stip it worked well. The layout was nice and the amount of text in each paragraph was the right amount to have both enought detail and not be bored by the length. Few tiny mistakes like saying "Extreme Rules" when you meant Elimanation Chamber.
Winner: Rated R. Both very good entries but Rated R takes this one for steering away from what happened in real life. It was a hard stip to do without repeating somethings but I felt Rated R dealt with it better. Despite Shifty's awesome graphics Rated R's was easier to read.
Overall a good show, maybe not on the same quality as last time but still good. Don't know what's going on with the entries that was suppost to be sent to Duan but I think the issue (if there is one) needs to be resolved. Good luck all.
