Hey guys anybody know what video editing software which can do the following : Render HD Can slow down FPS ( frames per second, for smooth slow motion ) Can have pictures for watermarks Has good range of effects black and white , old style effect Doesn't crash or freeze. Petty easy to use, as I would be making the jump from movie maker to something more professional. I'm also willing to pay as well .

Unless they say somewhere what they used, there's really no way of telling. It is an upper level one though, I can assure you of that.

I'm not sure there's a single product that fits every criteria. For one thing, "doesn't crash or freeze" has as much (if not more) to do with your computer itself than with the software. Your best bets are going to be the following: Sony Vegas (Windows Only)Adobe Premiere (Windows and Mac)Final Cut Studio (Apple Only)If you're willing to pay hundreds of dollars, then I would definitely recommend Premiere. My university has a deal with Adobe so I get to use their stuff for free. Premiere, especially as of CS 5.5, is quite good. Final Cut is the industry standard, but if you don't have a Mac then means you would have to buy a Mac and the Software. If you're on a budget, go with Sony. Also, Premiere and Vegas both have free trials.

Thanks for that Ive heard about them before but now I there the main 3 I'm going to give Sony a try as I have heard there is something called Sony Vegas 10 platinum which is cheep but has less features is that right? Also, Premiere and Vegas both have free trials.

For smooth slow mo you want a higher frame rate actually.
Avid is also great. Its what many major film industries use but without classes its not an easy thing to pick up on

Sony Vegas Pro will do all that and more.
Any program will crash and freeze. As said before, that's on your computer, not the program (save for the occasional glitch that any program will endure).
I ran Vegas on a laptop that wasn't suited for such a thing, and it worked about 80% of the time. Running Vegas on one meant to handle such a thing, I've yet to have a crash.

Mole pretty much answered this one, but I also recommend Pinnacle Studio 14, I believe is $125 Max. Hope I helped!
