First I'll explain. In my opinion, Mattel is getting better and better by each series. E10 getting the WHC and accurate smackdown MITB case, the tag belts etc, and E9 getting the US title done, plus new recent attires of everyone mostly. (E10 is set in summer 2010) But someone said they don't like the E10 and E9 lineups because Orton MVP and Kofi look a lot like their first elites, and E10 we get Kane Truth and Dibiase again. That got me thinking- would you rather get first or second time repaints of up and coming superstars, or the third and fourth repaints of Cena, Orton Mysterio, etc. I'd much rather get up and coming superstars because they might be gone before another figure can be made of them. (Shelton Benjamin, Tommy Dreamer, Luke Gallows and now MVP) What about you guys?

Depends on the wrestler. I'd much rather get another two elite Cenas (purple and red) or multiple elite Mysterios/Punks/Edges/Kofis before getting another elite Tyson Kidd, DH Smith, Mark Henry etc.

I'm not really too fussed about up and coming stars, half of them I barely know but the main factor would be the choice of attire. Rey for example, if his next Elite figure is the same as some of the Basic attires weve seen him in then I'd much prefer that over someone like Trent Baretta, whether it be his second or even first figure.

I only get the guys I like so guys like Ryder, Gallows, Baretta, Cryme Time, are all easy passes for me. Others like Henry, Truth, Kofi, Matt Hardy, Kozlov I got one version of and will probably never buy another version because I don't like them enough to get another version of. Then there's guys like HHH, Orton, Taker, Regal, Jericho, Miz that I'll buy every version of

I think their current mix is good. Helps them move product w/ some choice for people who don't just want Cena

I like the lesser superstars in like Ryder, Gallows, MVP, Yoshi etc... and will buy all new to Elite guys we get. And they do sell aswell.
But I also like updates to guy's like Mysterio, Cena, Miz & Kofi etc. Especially if theres a noticeble difference like new head, accesories and colourful attires.
All in all I do prefer having news stars than re-paints. But re-release's are needed.
I think it should (at the minute) be 3 new 3 re-release.

I just dont want Cena all the time! Well that's not going to happen as Mattel and retailers want him, because he sells with the kiddies.

I only buy one of each respected current Superstar unless there is a major gimmick or gear change so it really doesn't bother me who the repaints are. I wish they would get to the lower cards guys faster, but it just makes sense business wise to include re-paints of the Takers, Ortons, Cenas and Reys so it's really hard to hold that against Mattel.
Besides, most of the lower card guys with the exception of Ryder and Regal are jobbers in my fed. I'll make the occasional Elite fix-up like using a Masters head on a Mr. #1derful body so I can have more jobbers, but I really don't care if their gear is 100% accurate since they are just there to put over my top guys in squash matches.

I think Mattel has done a good job so far on the elites. They haven't repeated the same guys that much. The basics are a different story. They could use a t-shirt mold for Cena and maybe some kind of street clothes mold for others, just to mix it up a little bit. Getting excited over a basic Undertaker with a different thigh design was also getting difficult.

I wish they had more repaints faster. E8 drew is relatively new and is already outdated. Same goes for sheamus. I feel like elite collectors get the shaft cause basics have more lines and come out faster
