On impactwrestling.com's roster page, Robert Roode has been changed to Bobby Roode.

I noticed this on this week's impact. Thought nothing of it at first, since they call each other by their preferred names backstage all the time (eg Chris for Daniels, Frankie for Kazarian...). But they called him Bobby in the ring, and I think Flair also called him Bobby once. Don't think this changes anything though.
I liked the idea of him becoming his own persona after the split from Team Canada, and changing to Robert, but I don't think anything of this. I also heard somewhere (can't remember if it was hinted on impact, or written on a news website) TNA were considering him challenging for the WHC down the line, and since I put 2 + 2 together for the fact Roode can't team with Storm at Slammiversary, an AMW reunion may be on the cards.

Pretty sure Harris is already done with TNA as it is, so I would doubt an AMW reunion, especially considering how over Beer Money is right now.

I said exactly that about Beer Money, but the fact Bischoff said Storm would have to find another partner for the tag match at Slammiversary is too suspicious

Bobby Roode should be TNA's Triple H or better.

It makes sense for him to change, as wasn't the explanation behind the name change, was because of his new "snob" gimmick? He's no longer a snob (hasn't been for awhile), so it works better for a face run.

It's just his name change for the Impact Wrestling show. His name everywhere else is still Robert Roode.

This. TNA needs to push this guy to the ing moon. Seconded. Big fan of his work... Make it three. His work since he split from Team Canada has been impressive. His work with Beer Money has been amazing. His work this past month is main event caliber. Especially the agression he showed in his promo with Flair.

Robert Rhode is total main-event material if TNA allows him the chance to run with the ball. I just hope Storm can do something meaningful after Beer Money because that guy's great too, he can be like Arn Anderson and hold that TV title forever and a day and I think he'd get great matches out of the roster for that belt.

They are making him into a main event star soon. If they don't they are so fn stupid. He can wrestle and is great on the mic. Can be a good face or a great heel. I wouldn't mind seeing RVD vs Roode series or Aj vs Roode. 2nd. Roode vs. Storm is what I see happening.
