Here is my Real Scale-ish Ring using parts of a JAKKS Spring Action Ring! So far I only have about $25 into it. The width is only 16 1/2 by 16 1/2. Smaller than actual real scale but not too big to keep on display and I can easily fit a hardcore ring in the center with space around it. I still need to whip up some skirts to hide the bad cut job on the sides. Its actually really strudy, the woods thick enough so it doesnt sag. Ive always liked these turn buckles and wanted to figure a way to used them so I got a spring ring cheap and whiped this togather. More pics to come (hopefully better quality) soon...

Hey! You're not the only one! I always ranted about a 15x15 or 16x16 ring too, just that nobody ever hears me, lol! You have done something I have considered doing more than once, and you have proved that it works! Maybe we will see many more of these pop up here and there now? I love my Hardcore Ring, but I always end up putting up my RSR again, because the SAR (or hardcore ring) is still kinda smallish. What you have done is a great in between option. 10 points! 10 points!

nice! i fancy making a ring soon. I think i might get some wood and cover it in a white-elasticated-material and stretch it, Then probably pin it down with 'thumb tacks" and paint it but i like this

The only problem I find is it is a rectangle.

The only problem I find is it is a rectangle. Dude, you're going to have to elaborate on that. The guy says it's 16.5 x 16.5, and it looks pretty square on the picture. Are you seeing something we are not? Are you twisting the fabric of time and space without telling us? Is this some wrestling insider joke only HHH and Shawn Michaels will understand?

Most of the rings Ive worked in have been 18 footers, I think it ususally depends on the size of the venues the company runs. I know JCW shows use a 14 footer, but ICP dont even deserve to be mentioned when it comes to professional wrestling so I dont really count them

Nice work my man As you said, some ringskirts will make it look perfect One thing I'd recommend (which is inexpensive) is to search in ebay for red elastic cord This is for the ring ropes, so you get the perfect amount for the ring. I'd suggest getting 2.5mm in thickness (should be specified by the seller) and amount 3-4 metres worth

I recently bought a load of different colored 1/8 inch elastic cords for my rings and I'm waiting on them to arrive. I also sawed one of my old SARs into 4 pieces to make myself a 16x16 ring like yours man! Your thread is inspiring people!
