Which one of you guys did it to me. The seller agreed to my offer and ended the auction early for me. I paid immediately. This morning I get this bs message sent to me.
"Note from merchant im really sorry about this, my son got hold of these last night and basically they got a bit tore up as they were took into the garden with him, im going to be unable to sell them to you now as there just too wrecked, iv forwarded back all money paid"
Obviously somebody topped my offer. I'm more upset with this unscrupulous sellers lack of integrity. We had a deal.

me too, i had already bid £40 on each and asked the seller if she had a buy now, she replied saying she had been offerd £100 for the sid and steiner before i had even replied they were removed, THAT SUCKS!

YOU are wrong in the first place for ending an auction early!
SECOND: kids CAN and WILL destroy toys!
THIRD: you got your money back, quit whining!
Better luck next time!

It seems to me that if the story were true, the seller would at least offer to sell the damaged items at a reduced rate.

wouldnt suprise me to see them back on soon when the seller has done a little research, they will be starting or buy now on sky high prices.

not just from under you buddy, and if somebody did then they wouldt have known that me and you had agreed a deal with the seller, its not fair but its competition in the collecting game and its life.

But you did the deal outisde of ebay she got a better offer somewhere else and took it. you got your money back nice and quickly - i'd move on dude and don't waste any more time on it. Plus even if it was someone on this board who offered more, what you did was stopping someone else bidding on it and potentially winning it so you can't really argue with that

If you had just bid like everybody else maybe you could've gotten a deal (winning cheap) or had bad luck (losing the bid). Outside the bidding you made a cheap offer and got sort of burned. However you got your money back. What's worse; you only wanted them as trade bait! Putting other bidders (that really wanted them) out of the picture. eBay regulation: Exactly what you did! You're not covered and have no right to report the seller!
