They wanted him to do his top rope stuff, but if the other contestants aren't trained to TAKE the moves then how would he do them? He'd hurt them and get eliminated like the other guy that got blamed for hurting people. So they kicked him out since he didn't do them. This is how I felt. He didn't know how experienced these people were or whether they could actually take the moves he used to doing so it's kind of like they just set him up for disappointment.

I don't think they were out to get Matt because he was skilled. If so why even put him on the show in the first place? The exhibition with Luke is what got him in the bottom 3, but ultimately the showdown with Austin got him eliminated. When Austin got in his face and tried to light a fire under his ass to see how bad he wanted it, Matt was very timid and was asking permission to speak, while Austin was probably looking for Matt to tear him a new one as to why Austin was wrong to send him home. Look at the response from Skidmark and Andy they didn't hold back. While I agree that Matt was probably more skilled in the ring then 75% of the people there, personality is just as if not sometimes more important than skill in WWE. So I understand why he left so early. That is why I think he went home. Austin went into the bottom 3 segments with an idea of who to send home but he let the superstars hang themselves and change his mind. I figured he had Matt in the bottom 3 to wake him up and he was such a pansy it got him booted. Talent and ability don't matter in the WWE where they can maximize what you do have, Matt my shine in the Indies where wrestling ability is all that matters, he had nothing to put him over as a superstar.

He didn't shine in his tryout. If he couldn't get himself over in front of 3 people, how can WWE expect him to get himself over in front of 30,000 people? And I've watched M-Dogg since his BYW "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" days. He is talented. But the pressure of a tryout in front of Stone Cold is probably a million times more nerve-racking than the biggest indy show.Hmmmmm...

He didn't show he was anything special and couldn't give a good reason as to why he sahouldn't have gone home. Just because he's an indy star people assume that he should have won.

I was surprised he went when he did too but maybe it was as others have mentioned about his lack of balls or personality may have annoyed Stone Cold I don't believe the whole conspiracy as the WWE being out to get him from the start as why bring him into the show in the first place just to send him home again. I do think the guy got a bad deal though and never got a true chance to show his skills.
