I'm guessing that the reason is that 99.9% of his fans are 5 year olds. Exactly. And we all collect toys for 5 year olds. Ergo, Cena is going to feature a lot in the line. #brutalhonesty +1

He only sticks around for a cup of coffee around here. My Walmart must have had about 30 elite 7 Cena's and the same with HHH. The Cena's sold within a week and a half. HHH and others from that series are still collecting dust. It must be nice to see that may figures. I don't think my Local Walmart has had 30 Elite figures since Mattel started. Since Mattel took over the WWE license they've had 3 Series 1 returns (MVP, Rey & Taker all with their Jakks counterparts in them) and since then they've had 2 cases of Elite 7 and that is it since Mattel took over the WWE license. And I go to this store at least 3 times a week.

They're not even making enough Cena figures - he sells really well from where I live.

I may have posted this before, but I think the Walmart in my town is considered a low volume store but they easily sold 5 cases of Elite 7 plus the Walmarts in nearby towns moved quite a bit. Cena moves well around hear except at some of the supermarkets and drugstores with the higher price markups.

I'm sick of seeing those FlexForce Smash Scenes. I actually like the gimmicky accessory. But there are too many of those at Kmart and Walmart. My Walmart sent them to a shelf in the Garden Department. Another thing that didn't sell is the Cena packed wirth dog tags and wristbands, they recently got the Kmart yellow clearance sticker.

I'm sick of seeing those FlexForce Smash Scenes. I've only ever seen the Matt Hardy one once, but I've seen tons of the Cena and Punk. Are there cases of those with no Hardy?

How many Cena Repaints are there? Twelve, I think. There's the original Cena plus one repaint in the elite line. In the basic line, there are three different Cena figures: -Serious head: Basic 1, and seven repaints: WrestleMania Heritage 1, Survivor Series, Elimination Chamber, Belt Pack, WrestleMania 26, Rumble Heritage, Basic 10. -Smiling head: Over The Limit, and three repaints: Basic 5 (this may have come before OTL, but same difference), WMH 2, TLC. -Angry head: Signature series and one repaint: Two-packs 8. Possibly thirteen, if you're counting that less-detailed Basic 1 Cena that came in the rings with Big Show and Orton. But we still need a purple elite Cena, and red Cenas in both basic and elite.

Cena has as many repaints as there are Land Before Time Movies.

Some may just be tv episodes though.

Yeah, they're filled. On the other hand you know who isn't sick of seeing tons of John Cena figures? 10 year old kids.
Making sure theres always a good chance of a rey mysterio and john cena on the shelves is the smartest thing mattel can do. If a kid doesn't have any figures and is walking down the toy isle, and is a wrestling fan, and he sees the 2 most popular superstars figures then theres a good chance he'll probly want them and then build his collection from there.
I might not have ever gotten into collecting if I hadn't gone to RAW, then walmart the next day and saw Bret Hart and HBK from bca3. If they only had vader and ahmed johnson I may never had picked up my first jakks figures.

They will be gone in 2 weeks. Every time I see the shelves loaded with about 10 Cenas, I go back in 2 weeks and they are gone. There is a reason why they make so many. Not here. Cena is usually one of the slowest sellers. Then again after the first two cases of anything hits there is usually a full set of every set that sits on the shelves for a full month also. I am also very tired of the endless sea of Cena, Punk and Orton figures.
