I have posted pics of slides that I was told that they were used for the Hasbro toy line. You have seen slides of backer cards and unreleased figures such as Tugboat, Neidhart in Hart Foundation gear and the Beverley Brothers. These slides coincide with the sketches that I have shown here as well. Now here's Razor Ramon in purple & Shawn in black & silver: razor0002 by hasbromaniac, on Flickr Big deal you might say. We've seen both Hasbro figures in these color schemes. Just adding some foundation to what I shall show Sunday night. Can you say possible ORANGE CARDS ! ;D

Can't wait to see what you're going to show. There's so much speculation about the Orange card series. Finally some closure!!

I would've liked to see Razor in purple and Michaels in black replace Luke and Butch in the dark blue series rather than be additions not seen on the back of the card. Razor and Shawn were more relevant and the Bushwhackers never wore the tan outfits. It is cool to see the pictures above with those outfits that were produced.

I hope your showing more then just slides of "proposed" orange card series figures.... Not bashing your stuff here but unless I'm missing something here, there's nothing saying that these slides were used to make the hasbro lines?

Not bashing your stuff here but unless I'm missing something here, there's nothing saying that these slides were used to make the hasbro lines? I'm with akawildfire here, only because the dates on the slides indicate they are from December 1993. I know Dark Blue cards weren't found in stores until late July/early August 1994, but Hasbro employees have said it took at least a year to plan a figure. That being said, since these were simple repaints and not seen until after the first wave of Series 10 had already cleared shelves, there is evidence that the December 1993 timeline would make sense. Thank you for the pics you've shared already! Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!

It had to take a while to release figures because they were usually in an outfit that was outdated or the wrestler was already gone by release (Warlord, Sid, Anvil, Steamboat and more).

I can see where you're skeptical and unless we have someone come out with Hasbro letterhead with the line up we can just speculate. BUT, here's what I do have: The former Hasbro employee I purchased these slides from, along with the WWF Hasbro proof cards I've owned and cdp's unreleased ring artwork is pretty darn credible when it comes to Hasbro history. Yep, all from the same guy's collection. I am not going to say here you go guys, here's part of the line up. Heck, there may never have been anything but research materials (possibly such as these slides) and conversations among Hasbro big wigs on another series. This may just be another piece to the puzzle.

Dates on slides are about right. It usually takes around a year from concept to finished product. Let the debate begin: mom10001 by hasbromaniac, on Flickr

First off: These are cool as hell no matter what they are for. Again, thank you for posting them.
Second: Dates line-up for possible production anywhere between Dark Blue and Green cards.
Third: Let the speculation begin: could these have been reference materials for considered but abandoned Dark Blue/Green Cards? Possibly. Because you acquired them from a Hasbro source, that gives them a lot more credibility when discussing their Hasbro potential. Did you discuss with him/her if they remember why they were given these slides?

Those are pretty cool. I still wish Hasbros and Galoobs would have went longer. At least until Jakks took over (even then I prefer Hasbros) It seemed like it was short lived.

Very cool. These are some of the names that are mentioned when anyone really talks about the "orange card series". These slides definitely add more substance to the speculation

Knowing you have good Hasbro contacts they probably are related to the organse card set.
However, it is worth noting that these slides are very common place - WWE used to include the slides as part of their press packs and releases. I have a few myself.
